This Cables To Go 18459 laptop hub expands your USB configuration and provides three extra ports for connecting peripherals. Small, lightweight and portable, it just stores in your laptop's case or pocket, ideal for keyboards, mice and other low-powered USB devices.

With a transfer rate up to 480 Mbps, it's fully USB 2.0 compliant and compatible with all USB peripherals, and USB-enabled PCs and Macs. Because it's bus-powered, there is no need for an additional power supply. The plug at the end of the cable lights up VERY brightly, even tucked behind my oak desk, I can still see the light emanating across the room which is unnecessary. Other Thoughts: The port dust cover is useless as it doesn't provide any protection to the ports so I just removed it as it seemed like it would fall off on its own anyway. This was the first item I've purchased from Cables to Go, and will be the last. Probably the most "generic/cheaply made" item I've ever bought on Newegg. There are much better options than this for the same price range (Ultra, Belkin, IOGear), I would definitely not recommend this to a friend. It will probably end up in my junk drawer very soon. Pros: It works, does what it's supposed to do
