5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Used this with a Phenom II x4 965 and HD 5770 with 2 HDDs, 1 SSD, 4 sticks of ram, lu ray, and dvd player. Has held up strong and been reliable for years, absolutely no issues. Has always been very quiet and efficient. Semi modular which is great, and looks 'pretty' with the green. Thing is fairly beast but a bit outdated now.

Cons: None

Manufacturer Response:

Excellent. We are happy everything is working as expected.

4 out of 5 eggsPower enough

Pros: It's been over two years and there is no stopping this thing. Always had plenty of juice.

Cons: The main sticker inside, started pealing of and a month or two, also, I never got my rebate for $30, they lied or something, it was a mess and a yr ago.

Other Thoughts: rebates should be instant only, I think XFX, if they are the great designers like they seem to be, have degrees in accounting to get your rebate in order.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review. We are happy you are pleased. As far as rebates are concerned, If you ever have issues getting your rebate, email us immediately and we will resolve it. Thank you

4 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Solid, sturdy, and hasn't died yet. I like the solid construction and green fan.

Cons: The screws that come with are small and flimsy feeling, I had to switch them out for some spare ones.

Other Thoughts: It was a little pricey for only 650W and I'm going to have to upgrade soon, but I will be putting this in my older machine.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Buy, Quality Power Supply

Pros: Easily installed, fits well in case, very quiet, most of the features desirable in a power supply. The cables and connections are good quality with mesh sleeves on cables.
Excellent quality for the relatively low price from Newegg. The supply is capable of much more power than I am currently using in my rig. Had the PCIE cables also been modular, I would have rated it 5 eggs.

Cons: Some of the cables, especially the motherboard 8-pin power cable need to be longer. I had to route it over the top of the motherboard. If spacing between 4-pin molex connectors was a little greater I could have used fewer 5V/12V cables. The PCIE power cables are not modular but all but one of them should be. You must route and store them out of the way somewhere. These are not serious issues and I would buy another supply like it.

Other Thoughts: Based on one-week operation, this appears to be a good buy in a semi-modular power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsNICE

Pros: Packaging is very nice, suprising to where ill hold on to most of it for some time, nice package to keep cables dont need system at the moment, handles gtx 460 just fine, whisper quiet

Cons: none really, great product wait for a deal, I might have shafted myself on buying between a 10 day rebate gap

1 out of 5 eggsWaste of time

Pros: Quieter then my blender?

Cons: So after my device was deemed faulty after 3 days (the wonderful tech suggested that maybe if I plugged it directly into the wall instead of through a power bar that it might all of a sudden stop sounding like a jumbo jet), I get to RMA and pay 50% of the cost of the item in shipping, not including down time for my entire system, guess this is why they give out a rebate, in an attempt to cover the return shipping cost when you RMA it. Doubt I will buy another product from XFX again after this experience.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice PS

Pros: Love the partially modular design. Keeps system clutter to a minimum. Great reviews for this power supply from quite a few of the review sites around. If you do any of your own homework, and do any serious overclocking, you know where I'm talkin about. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: Could do without the green fan. Not going to downgrade it on that though.

I would definitely recommend this PS for mid, to lower high end machines.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Choice!

Pros: Relatively quiet, sufficient power output, price is definitely right. Modular cabling is awesome, won't go back to non-modular again. Great packaging, has a nice little case for extra cable storage. Other reviews were very helpful in my decision making process.

Cons: A little more variety in the dedicated cables would have been nice. Had to hook up 3 of the modular cables, that resulted in some extra cable management on my part. But not so much as to drop the rating.

Other Thoughts: Recommend this for anyone!
