Not all wattages are the same. Traditional Multi-Rail PSUs might claim to have higher wattages, but they are achieved by combining multiple smaller, lower wattage rails. Each smaller rail isn’t capable of running multiple high-power devices (GPUs, CPUs) because the individual wattage caps are simply too low. EasyRail Technology provides true total wattage – when you expect 200W, EasyRail gives you 200W. One Rail, One Setup.

XFX Core Edition Pro Series PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation (±5%) with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power which along with XFX’s new EasyRail Technology allows you to connect numerous devices without worrying about running out of power before reaching the maximum wattage. EasyRail optimizes it all for you. Available in 650W, 750W and 850W, XFX Core Edition Pro Series PSUs with EasyRail Technology give you one continuous rail of power covering the total maximum wattage.

  • newegg 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified The 80 PLUS BRONZE certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
  • newegg EasyRail for Maximum Power Unique, continuous EasyRail technology enables you to maximize available power and make set-up easy. The XFX Core Edition PRO850W (P1-850S-NLB9) is capable of delivering 850W of continuous output even at well above standard operating conditions such as 50°C. Single, high-power +12V rail with EasyRail technology providing up to 70A ensures the maximum provision of 12V power to multi-core CPUs and energy-hungry GPUs. Stack numerous power-hungry components without fear of crashing!
  • newegg Japanese Brand Capacitors (105°C) The PSU utilizes highly reliable Japanese brand capacitors for exceptional stability and product lifespan.
  • newegg 135mm Silent Ball Bearing Fan The 135mm ball bearing fan provides superior cooling performance to dissipate heat in the power supply enclosure while running whisper-quiet.
  • newegg NVIDIA SLI Ready Certified Coming with 2x PCI-E 6-pin and 2x PCI-E 6+2-pin connectors, the XFX Core Edition PRO850W (P1-850S-NLB9) allows you to build a SLI or CrossFireX gaming system with dual high-end graphics cards.
  • newegg Clean Power Power drawn from your AC outlet is typically dirty with voltage spikes and fluctuations, which can harm vital PC components. XFX PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power. This can also reduce audio distortion and screen flicker especially for high power gaming systems.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: -has all the connectors you would want
-runs almost silent
-works

Been working like a champ for three months now even tho Im pulling 820w from it non stop. :)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: People told me I could run my set up with a 850w psu, but I found out in my case that doesn't allow alot of ocing head room. Might have to amp up for a 1k w in the furture just for ocing but I still love this psu.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Solid PSU

Pros: More than enough power for my needs, more than enough connections to plug all my peripherals up to power.

Cons: Lots of cables see other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: I put this PSU in an mATX case, I would recommend that if you were looking to do the same fork out the extra money and get the modular (or even semi-modular) version of this same PSU. It will save you a lot of hassle using only the cables that you need instead of all of them.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a silent beast.

Pros: This thing is the quietest part in my rig, chucks out the heat from running my video cards and OC'd processor no problem. Has 2 6+2 and 2 6 pin pcie connectors. All wires are sleeved until about an inch from the end. Lots of connectors.(see cons)

Cons: Too many sata power cables! This thing has like ten! W T F! Not a con I guess, but you run out of room to hid em all fast, with that I suggest a case with 1-2 inches cable management room behind the motherboard tray.

Other Thoughts: Looks really freaking cool in and system from the grey colour scheme!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Steady power
Plenty of connectors
Doesn't get hot

Cons: Wires galore

Other Thoughts: Great PSU, it powers my AMD fx-8120, a water cooling loop, 2 6870's, 3 hdd's and an ssd with no problem what so ever. Never had it drop power randomly or act funny. Wish it was modular cause there are tons of wires that i had to tie down behind the mobo wall but still a great PSU

3 out of 5 eggsNoise, space, cords, basic gear.

Pros: It's affordable. You won't lose your lunch over this product. It also covers any basic gamer gear, in regards to power.

Cons: It's pretty annoying with the cords spewing everywhere. I would have imagined that they would have fixed that issue before shipping it.

Other Thoughts: Try buying a different company's product. The customer service isn't really that enjoyable, the products are "meh", and the variability between the same products is too high for a cautious consumer to risk. This is actually my 4th product from this company, and I can't say I am thrilled to have bought from them (lower to higher priced items)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

Pros: Installed easily into my large RaidMax Smilidon case. Plenty of connectors. Good length on cables. Powers my system well.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: The case was put together really well and meets the size specifications for a standard ATX power supply. There are no hidden gremlins in this unit. Fits well and works great.

4 out of 5 eggsGood When It Works

Pros: -when it works its great

-good costumer service

Cons: -slightly too many cables but its my fault for being cheep and not going modular

-after only a couple of weeks the fan started rattling and only got worse (stangely enough this also happened on the cpu of my other build) however when replaced it worked perfectly, i also might add their costumer service is quite good however quality is a down for this product (or maby it was just my bad luck)

Other Thoughts: -I'm giving this 4 stars or egg things giving it the benefit of the doubt because although the PSU on both of my machines started making noise because of their fan, the PSUs were of different brands and the fans that started to rattle were of different sizes witch leads me to believe that i just have really bad luck or that all companies making PSUs have gone down in quality

-don't get more wattage then needed for all the new builders out there most cases don't require an 850 and going with sli or crossfire means you'll probably need more than 850 watts

-don't be cheap

5 out of 5 eggsAwesomeness

Pros: Most of the pros are what are listed in the description. Very quiet, handles two ati radeon hd 6800s just fine. The warranty on it is amazing even tho i dont think ill ever use it because its built by XFX.

Cons: The price is always a con. If you really want a good solid psu this is worth the extra money

Other Thoughts: Great first psu if you are building a desktop for your first time
