Not all wattages are the same. Traditional Multi-Rail PSUs might claim to have higher wattages, but they are achieved by combining multiple smaller, lower wattage rails. Each smaller rail isn’t capable of running multiple high-power devices (GPUs, CPUs) because the individual wattage caps are simply too low. EasyRail Technology provides true total wattage – when you expect 200W, EasyRail gives you 200W. One Rail, One Setup.

XFX Core Edition Pro Series PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation (±5%) with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power which along with XFX’s new EasyRail Technology allows you to connect numerous devices without worrying about running out of power before reaching the maximum wattage. EasyRail optimizes it all for you. Available in 650W, 750W and 850W, XFX Core Edition Pro Series PSUs with EasyRail Technology give you one continuous rail of power covering the total maximum wattage.

  • newegg 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified The 80 PLUS BRONZE certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
  • newegg EasyRail for Maximum Power Unique, continuous EasyRail technology enables you to maximize available power and make set-up easy. The XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) is capable of delivering 650W of continuous output even at well above standard operating conditions such as 50°C. Single, high-power +12V rail with EasyRail technology providing up to 53A ensures the maximum provision of 12V power to multi-core CPUs and energy-hungry GPUs. Stack numerous power-hungry components without fear of crashing!
  • newegg Japanese Brand Capacitors (105°C) The PSU utilizes highly reliable Japanese brand capacitors for exceptional stability and product lifespan.
  • newegg 135mm Silent Ball Bearing Fan The 135mm ball bearing fan provides superior cooling performance to dissipate heat in the power supply enclosure while running whisper-quiet.
  • newegg NVIDIA SLI Ready Certified Coming with 2x PCI-E 6-pin and 2x PCI-E 6+2-pin connectors, the XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) allows you to build a SLI or CrossFireX gaming system.
  • newegg Clean Power Power drawn from your AC outlet is typically dirty with voltage spikes and fluctuations, which can harm vital PC components. XFX PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power. This can also reduce audio distortion and screen flicker especially for high power gaming systems.

Would buy again!

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Really quiet, made by Seasonic, does everything I bought it to do.

Cons: Not modular-- it has so many cables! Of course, for reliable 550w at a discounted price of $~35, I can't complain.

Other Thoughts: I'm hoping the rattling sound from the fan never rears its ugly head, but so far, it's nearly silent.

4 out of 5 eggsVery high score from JonnyGuru.com

This review is from: XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Made by Seasonic (MK12II series) with Japanese capacitors that will likely outlast the 5-year warranty, plenty of cables and connectors, power rated at 50 Celcius, meaning power capacity at actual operating temperatures will be higher than advertised.

Cons: Cables are sleeved, meaning heatshrink that holds sleeving near each connector makes cables stiff

Other Thoughts: 2 floppy disk drive power connectors -- future proofing?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Unit

This review is from: XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I like the single rail design with 45A on the 12v, my old PSU had 3 with only 17A per rail. It was not really enough for a high end video card. This PSU works really well and stays cool. Has more than enough connectors for me

Cons: It really quite of bit of cables, I wish it was modular, but I paid a good price so I'm not complaining.
Also it seems this model number was previously used for a PRO series so it's hard to find reviews. I still don't know the difference between the PRO and TS versions, beside a bigger fan and 4 more Amps on the 3v and 5v.

Other Thoughts: Right out of the box I plugged it in and heard a clicking noise. I've heard fans dying but it sounded a little louder, I looked inside the fan and saw nothing unusual. I was about to RMA it, but I decided to really check it out first. I used the end of a pen and pushed the wires a little farther down. I powered it back on and the clicking noise stopped. I see no damage to the wires so possibly it was hitting the mesh protecting the wires exiting the side. Anyway I have not had any problems since.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you very much!

We appreciate the great review. Sometimes cables do break loose and interfere, thank you for resolving it on your own.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

This review is from: XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Quality OEM (Seasonic).
Quiet fan at load (running i5-4790 and GTX 750 Ti).
Cheap ($27 at time of purchase after rebate).

Cons: 4+4 Pin and 8 Pin CPU cables barely reach socket on an ATX motherboard in a mid tower case with a bottom PSU mount. The socket is in the upper left corner, which is a very common placement on modern ATX motherboards -1 Egg
Lots of cables to manage. But it did say it was non-modular, so I can't really complain.

Other Thoughts: For the price I got it at, the quality of this PSU is unmatched. A simple PSU that does what it says it does. No more, and no less.

Thank you for the great review.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU!

This review is from: XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Got this back in February when it was $26 after MIRs, and I am impressed! It's higher quality than a Corsair CX power supply. It doesn't run extremely hot, which is great!

Cons: Cable management is a little hard with this supply, but it may just be me not being good at it.

Other Thoughts: If it's at a good price, then go buy it!

Manufacturer Response:

Hello and thank you for the great review.

We are very happy you are pleased. If you have any issues, please dont hestitate to contact us.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for My Build

This review is from: XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This PSU has worked great for my current build, running an FX-6350 and GTX 760 Superclocked GPU no problems. It has never failed to start and I have had no problems with it so far. I will unfortunately have to replace it soon in order to adjust for a pair of GTX 760s in SLI, but that is my fault. I will probably use it on another, less powerful build in the future.

Cons: The wires can be bulky and hard to work with, so make sure your case it large enough. Purchase a modular PSU for Mini builds.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review. We appreciate the positive feedback.

1 out of 5 eggsDead after 31 days

This review is from: XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Cabling is nice, all the right power connectors. Packaged well

Cons: Dead after 31 days, which means now I have to go through manufacturing to get it fixed. This is not an acceptable thing to have happen. This isn't the first time this has ever happened either, and I'm sure won't be the last. XFX Needs to fix their quality control, this is not acceptable.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

We're sorry you are having issues with this PSU.
