Not all wattages are the same. Traditional Multi-Rail PSUs might claim to have higher wattages, but they are achieved by combining multiple smaller, lower wattage rails. Each smaller rail isn’t capable of running multiple high-power devices (GPUs, CPUs) because the individual wattage caps are simply too low. EasyRail Technology provides true total wattage – when you expect 200W, EasyRail gives you 200W. One Rail, One Setup.

XFX Core Edition Pro Series PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation (±5%) with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power which along with XFX’s new EasyRail Technology allows you to connect numerous devices without worrying about running out of power before reaching the maximum wattage. EasyRail optimizes it all for you. Available in 650W, 750W and 850W, XFX Core Edition Pro Series PSUs with EasyRail Technology give you one continuous rail of power covering the total maximum wattage.

  • newegg 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified The 80 PLUS BRONZE certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100%, saving your money on your electrical bill, reducing heat in your computer's system and prolonging its life.
  • newegg EasyRail for Maximum Power Unique, continuous EasyRail technology enables you to maximize available power and make set-up easy. The XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) is capable of delivering 650W of continuous output even at well above standard operating conditions such as 50°C. Single, high-power +12V rail with EasyRail technology providing up to 53A ensures the maximum provision of 12V power to multi-core CPUs and energy-hungry GPUs. Stack numerous power-hungry components without fear of crashing!
  • newegg Japanese Brand Capacitors (105°C) The PSU utilizes highly reliable Japanese brand capacitors for exceptional stability and product lifespan.
  • newegg 135mm Silent Ball Bearing Fan The 135mm ball bearing fan provides superior cooling performance to dissipate heat in the power supply enclosure while running whisper-quiet.
  • newegg NVIDIA SLI Ready Certified Coming with 2x PCI-E 6-pin and 2x PCI-E 6+2-pin connectors, the XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) allows you to build a SLI or CrossFireX gaming system.
  • newegg Clean Power Power drawn from your AC outlet is typically dirty with voltage spikes and fluctuations, which can harm vital PC components. XFX PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power. This can also reduce audio distortion and screen flicker especially for high power gaming systems.

1 out of 5 eggsDead after 31 days

This review is from: XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Cabling is nice, all the right power connectors. Packaged well

Cons: Dead after 31 days, which means now I have to go through manufacturing to get it fixed. This is not an acceptable thing to have happen. This isn't the first time this has ever happened either, and I'm sure won't be the last. XFX Needs to fix their quality control, this is not acceptable.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

5 out of 5 eggsDecent PSU

This review is from: XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I got what I paid for. Albeit it was much cheaper when I bought it. Powers a lightweight gaming PC, and has for well over a year.

Cons: Only 2 PCIe power connecters, however I knew that before I purchased it.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review!

3 out of 5 eggsNewegg Listed it as 80+ gold not bronze

This review is from: XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Prob a great powersupply

Cons: Newegg listed this as a 80+plus gold, instead what i got was the 80+ bronze. Instead of sending me what they listed it as, they just refunded my money, that is nice and all but i payed for a 80+ gold PSU that what i expected, and thats what u should of replaced my rma with. Not my fault you listed your product wrong.
Going to start using a m a z o n more because of this.
Fail.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

This review is from: XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Quiet,many ports,single rail

Cons: arrived with a broken SATA cord.

Other Thoughts: When I unboxed it,one of the SATA port heads was damaged. That port was inoperable, but since it had all the ports I needed without that one,I didn't bother with an RMA.Other than that,it's a great power supply,it powers my gaming rig very nicely. The product overhead ORIGINALLY labled it as being an 80+ GOLD power supply,so I was a little disapointed when an 80+ BRONZE PSU arrived at my door, but it's not worth losing my computer use while I wait for a new one so...

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review! We are sorry about the mislabeling of the Gold 80+ description, that was our error.

For future reference and anyone reading this, please reject damaged items for your own sake. However, since you didnt, I would be happy to extend any services XFX can offer to support this wounded unit.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Great price, strong single 12v rail, quick rebate application turnaround with no problems.

Cons: Not modular.....at least partially, not xfx's fault (I knew that buying it).

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my test bench setup. All seems to be going good so far.

2 out of 5 eggsDay 37...It's Dead..And I get to pay more money to get it replaced

This review is from: XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Seemed to work as promised for about two weeks

Cons: After 37 days it wouldn't power up. Wouldn't you know after 30 days you have to go through the manufacturer and pay to send it back and then wait for a new one to show up.

Other Thoughts: I'm probably making a mistake writing this before I get my replacement back, if they read this it might get delayed.

The power supply might be good... not sure because within 2 weeks started getting lock ups and shut downs.

On Day 37 it won't boot the computer.

Now I have to pay $20 to get it back to them and then they will send me a replacement in a few weeks. If it crashes again...I get to pay another $20 and do it again.. and so on.

Not sure I would buy this just because of the hassle. Maybe my credit card company will give me my money back.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PS at a Great price

This review is from: XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Ordered this PS for a new system build and am very happy with it. Lots of power connectors for anything you want to throw at it and is very quiet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The cable braiding is a bit thick and may prove difficult to hide in a small form factor case. If, like me, you are using a full ATX case with room behind the MB to hide/route cabling you will have no problems. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review. We are happy you are pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsTS 550 - Another Win!

This review is from: XFX TS Series XFX TS 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Made with some of the finest quality, branded by one of the most well known and reputable companies. These are made to last, and do so efficiently.

Cons: Not always on sale.

Other Thoughts: Although I order an XFX Core Edition PRO550W, I received a TS 550W model instead. Really no need to worry, since the TS is just the new model to replace the Core Edition. Same specs, and yet another excellent choice by XFX to reference a SeaSonic unit (the S12G).

Thank you for the great review. We are happy you are pleased.
