SolidLink™ Power Supplies

Less Wire, Less Heat

SolidLink fully modular PSUs don't have as many primary wires, instead we use pin lag that directly connects to the connector daughter board.
ProSeries 750W PSU Traditional fully modular PSUs tend to have a bundle of cables connected to the daughter board which generate heat causing Wattage loss.

SolidLink™ Technology Difference

  • Drastically reduces the lost Wattage
  • Draw less wall power which save you money
  • Replaces traditional wired connections with direct pin to port connections.
  • Reduces heat generated by wires.
  • Reduces lost Wattage giving you clean, consistent high quality voltage.

ProSeries 750W PSU

Hybrid Fan Control

Quieter, Saves Power

Hybrid mode when activated, allows your fan to stay off when your computer is idle but turns on automatically when the PSU needs it.

  • Operates Silently until it reaches 20% load or 77°F (25°C)
  • Switches to Quiet Mode (only 16dBA)
  • Reaching 50% load which Cooling Mode to cool the PSU appropriately

80 Plus Gold Certification

Super High Efficiency

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU for this Basic User

Pros: Easy install; box loaded with cables; good instructions; looks good through the case window.

Cons: None thus far (fingers crossed!).

Other Thoughts: After years of upgrading, I used this XFX power supply in my first "clean slate" build. No trouble in the build, and it's worked well since. Not knowing it's even there is a pretty good result, in my book.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for the great review! As always, If you have any questions, feel free to contact us and let us know.

4 out of 5 eggsNo issues

Pros: Heavy, well made, cool looking, semi-modular, reasonable money.

Cons: Semi-Modular, reasonable money, almost too cool looking?
The sheathing is a little cheap, cables a bit stiff, the lengths could vary more on the plugable leads, but it's alright enough.
No sticker. :)

Other Thoughts: There are a ton of in depth PSU reviews online, I suggest anyone buying read them, especially jonnyguru. This one isn't made by XFX, and that's a good thing in this case as of mid 2013. Do your homework, the data is out there.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Wolf, We're glad you're power supply is running with no issues. If you have any questions, please contact us at Thank you for the review!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks great!... bad fan

Pros: -Works as it should
-Fair price!

Cons: -After about 2-3 weeks of having this psu, the fan started to make a grinding noise.

Other Thoughts: Not the quietest psu out there... could just be my bad luck though.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Power Supply

Pros: I have been purchasing these for systems and small server builds for almost 2 years. All together I have bought 8 of them and every one was rock solid.

Cons: None Whatsoever

Other Thoughts: Though only partially modular, they give plenty of cables and options. Has plenty of power for most systems. I'm using in my personal system with an AMD 8 core, 650 ti Video, Blue Ray Burner, 2 hard drives, 1 SSD and lots of juice loving USB devices. Very stable and cool.

5 out of 5 eggsgood PSU

Pros: very good power supply. VERY QUIET ! even when gaming or when u rpc is at load . i use to have an OCZ but it was loud as a bomb going off. this psu doesnt get to hot either, pretty good temps. very nice psu and all cables are sleeved in black, good price and 80 plus silver which is important for quality power and overclocking.

Cons: price was 130 plus tax and delivery i belive could be cheaper but then again tons of other psus out there are going for more

Other Thoughts: get this psu XFX is very good quality never had any problems with them OCZ is kife

1 out of 5 eggsfaulty kills componets

Pros: nothing now

Cons: After a few months of having this psu, it shorted out and fried a intel q9770, 780i motherboard 8 gigs of ocz ddr2 sli cert memory, 2 msi gtx 275's, and 2 1 tb hd's, and they refused to replace the other componets that where not under warrenty to be replaced, don't use on something that isn't under warrenty,

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for a quiet Crossfire/SLI-Ready machine

Pros: 1. Quiet!
2. Plenty of PSU for the money, IMO
3. Semi-modular is nice. I used one modular cable to power two SATA drives, while the non-modular cables are for the stuff you need anyway: the mobo, CPU, and PCIe components.
4. Looks cool, not that anybody's ever going to see my PSU
5. Future proofing, for somebody like me. (See other thoughts.)
6. Plenty of extra modular SATA and molex cables. You have 'em if you need 'em, and you can leave 'em out of the machine if you don't. The cables are nice, mesh-wrapped jobs, too.
7. Very quiet! I can't even hear that thing!

Cons: None so far. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Other Thoughts: I've never overclocked anything, but I typically build machines capable of SLI and overclocking to future-proof them a little. With my builds I try to strike a balance between price, quietness, and performance.

This PSU met my needs perfectly. As I type this, it is sitting there and working silently. Admittedly, I'm not asking much of it: a single case fan, a Kuhler water pump, the motherboard, an Intel i5 2500k, and a dual-fan Radeon HD 7850 are all that's drawing power.

It's worth noting that the video card has two 6 pin PCIe plugs to power those two fans. If I ever want to set up Crossfire in this system, the PSU is ready for it: among the extra modular cables that come with it are four more 6+2 PCIe plugs. So, plenty of power for future expansion, even if you want to double up on dual-fan video cards.

Manufacturer Response:

We are glad to hear that you are enjoying your purchase. If you ever have any questions about your product then please feel free to contact our support staff at Thank you.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works great, semi modular. Im using almost all of the built in wires, so there not a ton of excessive non modular cables

Cons: One more cable with 4-pin connectors would be nice but not a huge deal

5 out of 5 eggsValue out the box

Pros: Had all the cables I needed and more. One look at this thing and I was happy with my purchase.

Cons: One of the none modular cables was short so just 1 cable visible through my case.

Other Thoughts: Awesome great value and love the aggressive look of it
