Conventional PSUs use multi-rail technology which basically combines cheaper and lower wattage PSUs into one single PSU to generate a higher total wattage. However, smaller rails have lower maximum wattages so left over wattage on individual rails become too small to handle major components and gets wasted.

Unique, continuous EasyRail technology enables you to maximize available power and make set-up easy. Stack numerous power-hungry components, such as your GPU, CPU and other components - without fear of crashing – with XFX ProSeries PSU with EasyRail Technology. In addition, this core Edition PSU has been awarded the 80 Plus Bronze certification for its high power efficiency. One Rail, One Setup.

  • newegg EasyRail Technology XFX ProSeries PSUs with EasyRail Technology give you one continuous rail of power covering the total maximum wattage. What this means is that no matter how many devices you have, high or low power, they can easily stack until it reaches the full maximum wattage. With EasyRail technology you can maximize the potential of your PSU with ease.
  • newegg True Wattage Guarantee Wattage and heat go hand-in-hand. Other PSUs claim a certain wattage by using unrealistic testing environments like 25°C, but in real settings, they might reach much lower wattages. XFX PSUs guarantee the advertised wattage, even at well above standard operating conditions at 50°C.
  • newegg Efficient Power Use 80 Plus Bronze certified means that this XFX PSU has an 85% power efficiency. Compare that to non-certified PSUs, which lose at least 20% of power drawn. With the XFX PSU, get every watt you pay for.
  • newegg Extreme Heat Tested Capacitors Internal PC operating temperature is around 35°C but the internal PSU temperature can be much higher. XFX uses all high-quality Japanese brand capacitors rated to withstand up to 105°C. While some competitors claim to use Japanese capacitors, they may only be rated for 85°C, which can shorten the usable life of a PSU.
  • newegg Clean Power Power drawn from your AC outlet is typically dirty with voltage spikes and fluctuations, which can harm vital PC components. XFX PSUs are designed to deliver tight DC voltage regulation with minimal AC ripple, giving you safer, cleaner power.

5 out of 5 eggsVERY GOOD AND SILENT

Pros: very quiet and i get no hickups with everything overclocked like a total boss. will see if rebate shows up! haha

Cons: wish it was modular but then again it does a great job. and it did not fit my case. but it just sits on the rail but oh well. my fault!

Other Thoughts: does a great job at running a ASRock FM2A75 PRO-4M with A-10.5800K with all settings overclocked and it does not even stutter~

5 out of 5 eggsQuality psu as always with xfx

Pros: Never had a problem with xfx. It must be a seasonic rebranded. The rebate is a good deal.

Cons: cables could be a few inches longer. Sata on dvd drives were hard to manage.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns great

Pros: Runs a ASUS Radeon hd 3870.
Fan is very quite, and well-cooled.
Nice quality when compared to a cheap 20$ diablo tech PSU.

Cons: Stiff wires.
Wires are slightly short-off when trying to do cable management on an NZXT classic gamma case ( Might be do to the positioning of the connectors on the mobo).

Other Thoughts: I wish the wires were a little longer for cable management on a mid tower case (Again, might just be the positioning of the connectors on the mobo).

5 out of 5 eggsgood buy

Pros: when i bought this and unboxed it i thought i was going to get something that looked and preformed like poop (had to think of another word) for a 450 Wat but it looks nice in my PC it is a very solid design and i have had no problems with it so far, its very quite.

Cons: its not molar but i don't see that cause for a egg

1 out of 5 eggsXFX has bad customer service, Beware!!

Pros: Product looked good and was quiet, When it worked

Cons: I'm a MCSE, A+ certified , Computer Engineer, second generation electronics Tech, so believe me when I say I wouldn't buy from a company again, take heed.
This is the first PSU I have ever purchased that would actually turn the computer off if you touched the case, just the slightest touch would completely reboot the system.
I bought a case with a Cheap stock 300watt PSU in it and it ran the system fine but as soon as I replaced it with this XFX PSU problems began, reboots, errors in windows after restart and a few other oddities.
So I go to XFXforce website and make a support ticket request and a dude answered back promptly the first time and confirmed it was a bad PSU but when I ask him in the second reply how we could resolve this problem and if he could cross ship me a new one out he just laughed and said we get a lot of people ask us that and said he wouldn't but the best thing for me to do was to RMA it back through Newegg since it was still under their return policy. Read Con

Other Thoughts: * Rest of the story; Oh yeah, I had to actually call him after his first response that the PSU must be the problem; I kept replying and he would not respond, so I called and guess who answered?Same dude I was chatting with by computer.
I told him I would not be doing business with XFX anymore and he said, OK, Then I said I was going to tell my story on the blogs and Newegg and he said, OK goodbye.
Believe me I know first hand that you can get a bad product from any company once in awhile, but don't run your customers off and sound happy about doing it, treat them as you would want to be treated, stand behind your product.
In the end I called Newegg and RMA'd it for a refund and the lady on the phone was so understanding and polite, Newegg Rocks!!; As always. So many other companies could learn a thing or two from Newegg in how to respect and treat a customer, Thanks Newegg and thanks for the always fast shipping.."
Newegg, please give us the choice to give no eggs on our reviews.

-Sturdy.
-Stable.

5 out of 5 eggsVery solid power supply

Pros: Lets see: 34 amps from a 450 watt PS? It's actually a Seaxonic power supply? Covered cables that are not bad to work with?

Cons: Not really a negative, but if you are replacing a PS in an older PC that still uses molex connectors, there is only one rail. If your computer is modern and needs a PS, no problem.

Other Thoughts: Time will tell. The PS is built well and voltages are actually within spec. Made a huge difference in my customers desktop that we took a failed Raidmax out of. Seriously, I think I will buy more of these-especially if they hold up for a while...

4 out of 5 eggsDecent PSU

Pros: Good specs - power efficiency, active PFC. Let's just hope the quality of the parts & build match up.

It's quiet (when the wires aren't protruding into the path of the fan blades).

Cons: 1. The design allows for the possibility of internal wires pushing out into the path of the fan, which happened to me! I had to disconnect everything and remove the PSU, then push the wires down with a screwdriver. I hope they don't pop back out.

2. The cables are fat and stiff. The SATA power connectors that are ostensibly arranged for supplying power to two adjacent drives create a stiff loop of cable that sticks out kind of far, which may not work depending on your case layout. I was able to get it to work for my case by moving one drive down a slot.
