The World's First 80 Plus Platinum Full Modular PSU with SolidLink

XFX ProSeries exclusive SolidLink™ Technology replaces wires - which cause wattage loss - with direct pin connections. The result is an extremely efficient high-power PSU. Also, with EasyRail™ Technology, you get one single rail for maximum power and easy setup.

SolidLink™ Power Supplies - Less Wires, Less Heat.

SolidLink Technology
  • Drastically reduces the lost Wattage
  • Draws less wall power which saves you money
  • Replaces traditional wired connections with direct pin to port connections.
  • Reduces heat generated by wires.
  • Gives you clean, consistent high quality Voltage.

Hybrid Fan Control - Quieter, Power Saving

Hybrid mode allows your fan to stay off when your computer is idle and turn on automatically when the PSU needs it.

  • Operates silently until it reaches 20% load or 77°F (25°C)
  • Switches to Quiet Mode (only 16dBA)
  • Switches to Cooling Mode to cool the PSU appropriately when it reaches 50% (±5%) load.
Hybrid Fan Control

80 Plus Platinum Certification - Super High Efficiency

80 Plus Platinum Certification
  • 80 Plus Platinum certification means that this XFX PSU has a 92% power efficiency (only 8% of the power drawn from the outlet is lost).
  • In comparison, non-certified PSUs lose at least 20% of power drawn.
  • With XFX PSUs, you get every Watt you pay for.

EasyRail™ Technology - One Rail, One Setup

  • Unique, continuous EasyRail™ technology enables you to maximize available power and makes setup easy.
  • You can stack numerous power-hungry components without fear of crashing.
  • It's a perfect solution for hardcore gamers.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Quiet
Platinum Rating
Looks great

Cons: Stopped working *see other thoughts*

Other Thoughts: Yup mine stopped working. I worked through the companies website to get my PSU replaced and the process was a little confusing and took some time. XFX however did honor the warranty and sent me a new unit once they received the defective block. Other thoughts, I'd like to see individual cable sleeves for this but that is me just being picky. Also maybe a better website that would make the exchange process go smoother. Other then that, great PSU.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsBig Bada Boom

Pros: Modular, tons of cables, nice looking.

Cons: Stopped working!

Other Thoughts: I have built and owned several computers over the decades and this is the first time I have ever had a power supply fail. Most of my other systems lasted for over 5 years before I built new ones and the PSU was still kicking.

I bought this one specifically because I was building a system with dual GPU's and I wanted power to spare.

Well after about 10 months one day it just stopped working, luckily nothing in my system was damaged.

Purchased a Corsair AX1200 and everything is running fine.

Not sure if this is common with all PSU's but I also had to replace all power cables as even though the Corsair was modular none of the XFX cables would work.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we're sorry you are having trouble with your PSU. Please contact me at for immediate assistance. Thank you

I didn't test it before putting it in went ahead and spent 3 hours wiring it all neat n stuff to find out it was doa :(

Other Thoughts: Will edit how the next one goes hopefully this one will work

4 out of 5 eggsXFX ProSeries P1-1000-BELX 1000W

Pros: I have owned several other brands of similar outputs but this is by far my favorite for the money. I had my last PS give out after only 8 months and with this unit I added several new components and so far everything seems great. Only time will tell though on its durability in the long haul.

Cons: Would have like it more to have had seen a lower price as this series has been out for sometime..but then again it is a good quality PSU.

Other Thoughts: The price point was made better by the $20 rebate however XFX has left me hanging in the past for more than 4 months on getting my rebate card in the mail.

5 out of 5 eggsUse this with an UPS

Pros: Pulling this kind of electricity and demanding a clean feed to all of your electronics inside your desktop is a given. Use an UPS. Works perfectly otherwise.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: Came with everything I ever needed.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Modular
Looks amazing
Nice packaging

Cons: Stopped working

Other Thoughts: I've had this for a little over a year now. Just like some of the reviews stated it has failed. I've had this on 2 surge protectors so I know that isn't the issue. I am now running on another PSU and I've noticed continued stability issues and functions not working correctly on my computer. Anyways I just hope this issue can be worked out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU!

Pros: Not as big as I thought it was going to be, only like 2 inches longer than a normal PSU.
100% modular.
CPU cable actually reached the top of the Mobo with out an extender.
They give you a boat of cables, they have short and longer cables which is really nice.
Didn't fry my board...
Came with a huge power cable, super thick.

Cons: The only downside to this is the middle part where you plug in the cables bows when you push the cables in, it also feels like you are going to break it almost.
When you really look at it, it's just the plastic part, but still seems like it should be really sturdy there.

Other Thoughts: Cables are kinda hard to bend the way you need them, but most are like that.
