XFX ProSeries exclusive SolidLinkTM Technology replaces wires - which cause wattage loss - with direct pin connections. The result is an extremely efficient high-power PSU. Also, with EasyRailTM Technology, you get one single rail for maximum power and easy set-up. In addition, this PSU has been awarded the 80 Plus PLATINUM certification for its high power efficiency.

  • newegg SolidLink Technology Traditional Full Modular PSUs tend to have a bundle of cables connected to the connector daughter board to generate heat which causes wattage loss. SolidLink Full Modular PSUs don’t have as many primary wires, instead XFX directly connects pin lag to the connector daughter board, which reduces heat generated by wires and minimizes energy loss, not only giving you clean, consistent high quality voltage, but also saving you money by drawing less wall power.
  • newegg EasyRail Technology XFX ProSeries PSUs with EasyRail Technology give you one continuous rail of power covering the total maximum wattage. What this means is that no matter how many devices you have, high or low power, they can easily stack until it reaches the full maximum wattage. With EasyRail technology you can maximize the potential of your PSU with ease.
  • newegg True Wattage Guarantee Wattage and heat go hand-in-hand. Other PSUs claim a certain wattage by using unrealistic testing environments like 25°C, but in real settings, they might reach much lower wattages. XFX PSUs guarantee the advertised wattage, even at well above standard operating conditions at 50°C.
  • newegg Efficient Power Use 80 Plus Platinum certified means that this XFX PSU has a power efficiency of up to 92%. Compare that to non-certified PSUs, which lose at least 20% of power drawn. With the XFX PSU, get every watt you pay for.
  • newegg Extreme Heat Tested Capacitors Internal PC operating temperature is around 35°C but the internal PSU temperature can be much higher. XFX uses all high-quality Japanese brand capacitors rated to withstand up to 105°C. While some competitors claim to use Japanese capacitors, they may only be rated for 85°C, which can shorten the usable life of a PSU.
  • newegg Hybrid Fan Control Hybrid mode when activated, allows your fan to stay off when your computer is idle but turns on automatically when the PSU needs it. This PSU operates silently until it reaches 20% load or 25°C. After that, it will switch to Quiet Mode (only 16dBA). When it reaches 50% load, the cooling mode will be on to cool the PSU appropriately.

4 out of 5 eggsXFX ProSeries P1-1000-BELX 1000W

Pros: I have owned several other brands of similar outputs but this is by far my favorite for the money. I had my last PS give out after only 8 months and with this unit I added several new components and so far everything seems great. Only time will tell though on its durability in the long haul.

Cons: Would have like it more to have had seen a lower price as this series has been out for sometime..but then again it is a good quality PSU.

Other Thoughts: The price point was made better by the $20 rebate however XFX has left me hanging in the past for more than 4 months on getting my rebate card in the mail.

5 out of 5 eggsUse this with an UPS

Pros: Pulling this kind of electricity and demanding a clean feed to all of your electronics inside your desktop is a given. Use an UPS. Works perfectly otherwise.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: Came with everything I ever needed.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Modular
Looks amazing
Quiet
Nice packaging

Cons: Stopped working

Other Thoughts: I've had this for a little over a year now. Just like some of the reviews stated it has failed. I've had this on 2 surge protectors so I know that isn't the issue. I am now running on another PSU and I've noticed continued stability issues and functions not working correctly on my computer. Anyways I just hope this issue can be worked out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU!

Pros: Not as big as I thought it was going to be, only like 2 inches longer than a normal PSU.
100% modular.
CPU cable actually reached the top of the Mobo with out an extender.
They give you a boat of cables, they have short and longer cables which is really nice.
Didn't fry my board...
Came with a huge power cable, super thick.

Cons: The only downside to this is the middle part where you plug in the cables bows when you push the cables in, it also feels like you are going to break it almost.
When you really look at it, it's just the plastic part, but still seems like it should be really sturdy there.

Other Thoughts: Cables are kinda hard to bend the way you need them, but most are like that.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA received

Pros: looked good.

Cons: it was on- off - off -off -- on -- off off off -- I replace a 750 in my I7 extreme with 14 T of disks and a Nvidia 670 - was going to add another 14 T of drives - looked for some more umph -- after installing this and fiddling with this for several hours - i finally realized it really was the PS that was dead.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolute garbage

Pros: A lot of connection options. 1000W.
Warranty process is easy, fast and hassle free. 5 Year Warranty

Cons: Works for about a week then stops. I am on my second PS soon to get the third in the month and a half I had this PS model.

Other Thoughts: Ordering Corsair to replace it. I do not recommend this unit.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU.

Pros: Performs perfectly.

Cons: None. However, I would like to see the XFX badge right-side-up :). My case (Raven RV03) forces this.

Other Thoughts: Best PSU I've owned.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Price was not bad with rebate. Easy install, had everything installed right the first time without messing around. Love the modular set up, using only the cables I needed. Also came with every single cable I could possibly ever need, so no worries there.

Cons: Really none that I see

Other Thoughts: Purchased this PSU to replace the stock 800 watt PSU that came with computer. Was having a ton of problems with my computer restarting and getting BSOD, tried everything possible to fix, dropped in this PSU, and haven't had a single issue yet.
