4 out of 5 eggsGreat So Far But Somethings to Watch Out For

Pros: Decent wattage from a near standard size power supply. Appears to be well made, the chassis, labels, heat sinks, weight, etc. all appear to be high quality. Low noise. LED fan with a switch for on or off so great for those who like lights or not (blue). Modular but wish it were 100% not only are the motherboard cables hardwired, the

Cons: Cables and connectors are fairly stiff. Believe it or not I like Ultra power supplies the best in regards to the cables and noise.
States it is Crossfire certified, from all I can tell this is false, although it is SLI certified. Not certified on Gigabytes own website or Crossfire certified website - false advertising?
The amperage on two of the four rails is only 18 amps (24 on the others) which is not so great, prefer single rail designs but couldn't find one that would fit in my cramped case.
Modular but wish it were 100% not only are the motherboard cables hardwired fairly common, two of the PCIE cables are also. Not 100% clear (even with the labeled attached) which cables are on what rails...

Other Thoughts: There are two versions of this power supply, the GT and Pro, the GT comes with software management - for fans, adjusting voltage, etc, the Pro does not. I thought I was getting the GT (thought it was the only model available - and what all the reviews are of online. GT (the better model sells for the same price as this lesser model elsewhere), so know what you are purchasing. I feel duped.

Manufacturer Response:

Manufacture response: Thank you for your business with Gigabyte Technologies. According to your enquiry please NOTE- due to NVIDIA regulation, crossfire and SLI certification cannot be showed at the same time.
Data is both on SLI and GIGABYTE website. Please look in SLI website under the following: For Dual GeForce 7900 GTX or Dual GeForce 7800 GTX 512 MB*

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Make Sense

Pros: Maybe good for Other Motherboards but not Gigabyte Boards.

Cons: One requirement for Gigabyte Motherboards is a -5V on the 24 pin connector, now here we have a Gigabyte Power Supply with no -5V. GO FIGURE.....A Power Supply with the Gigabyte name that won't work on a Gigabyte Board. What Genius Tech from Gigabyte thought this one up.

Manufacturer Response:

Manufacture response: Thank you for your business with Gigabyte Technologies. According to your enquiry on the motherboards,
by definition of INTEL ATX +12V version 2.2 spec,
the -5V output is no longer required on motherboards.
For older motherboards which is prior to INTEL 12V v2.2, prior spec PSUs should be considered.
As ODIN series is designed following the +12V version 2.2 design guide, the -5V is not included.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Longer than typical CPU/ATX cables, good for larger cases. Quiet. Built for appearance, looks and feels like quality. No problems powering dual vid cards on typ high performance Intel system

Cons: Not Cheap. Don't care for the modular cable connectors.

Other Thoughts: Before you noobs RMA, note there are two power switches :}
