5 out of 5 eggsAwsome power in a compact case

Pros: 1200W in a case not much bigger than a 750W PSU. Has modular cables that are sleeved with mesh for accessories and drives. The fan is quiet.

Cons: The latch on the ATX connector broke off on the first use. Not a big deal as it is a snug fit already and the connector isn't going anywhere soon.

Other Thoughts: The only improvement would be to make the ATX and the AUX board power cords modular as well - they are direct wired to the PSU now.

2 out of 5 eggsdisapointed

Pros: when it would come on ran fine with striker 2 and gtx280! seemed to run cool and quiet. nice set up for the cords comes with anything u might need as far as power cords go. loved how all the 8pin were 6+2 so u could use it or not dont have to have a spacific connector.

Cons: well built new machine using this psu and striker 2 formula mobo. it powered it on the first couple of times fine then didnt work. then suddenenly it woked sometimes. so i grabed a 500w i had laying around and it power on the mobo perfect unlike the odin! i ended up sending it back for a coolmax wich ended up wroking great. funny how a cheaper psu worked better. i could have had a bad psu but had it checked out seemed fine.

Other Thoughts: asus said the psu may not have been compatible with mobo well i tried diff company and it worked great wich sucks becuase i liked this psu better just didnt work for me.

Manufacturer Response:

Manufacture response: Thank you for your business with Gigabyte Technologies. It’s the first time we’ve heard about things like this, we are really sorry about the inconvenient. If possible could you please provide us your system built and the model name of the motherboard in order for us to assist you more.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and stable

Pros: Running very stable in my rig so far for about 2 months now. Powered a 3 way sli with no problems and now powering a quad sli system with no problems. Modular and sleeved cabling is also very nice. Its quiet too.

Cons: Can be a bit heavier and bigger than other psus. 1200w of peak power may be unnecessary for most rigs.

Other Thoughts: Very nice investment for rigs that require hardcore power, its quiet and stable.
