5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: I have it hooked up to my TonidoPlug with a 1TB hard drive. Works great! I've also used it with Windows 7 64 bit without a problem..

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsBag of Tricks Item

Pros: This is a great inclusion into any tech bag- minus the only Con below. It worked out of the box, is super easy to plug and play, and recognizes anything I plug into it. Great job, nice (Con excluded) look, hand to have around.

Cons: The upright drive protection piece that holds the 3.5" HDD in place needed to be on a hinge that folds down over the docking portion. The docking portion has a full time cutout for 2.5" HDD, so if nothing is in it it collects dust into the unit. Also, when transporting this, I worry every-time that I'm going to snap it off, even though it is very sturdy plastic, which makes me worry that if it does snap off, it's going to take more than itself when it goes.

Other Thoughts: Worth the money, probably more. Easy to use, looks sharp. Thanks Newegg for the find!

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work w/Windows 7, 64-bit

Pros: Great Form factor & color design. Inclusive types of ports. Works w/ Win7, 32-bit.

Cons: Doesn't work with with Windows 7, 64-bit. Device is found but then disconnects repeatedly. Confirmed w/ tech support & they stated that this is a known problem that wasn't obvious before release. OEM supplier hasn't responded to Cirago's request to resolve the issue with an EEPROM update or alternative driver set. Waiting to hear back from level 2 tech.

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if this was made known earlier - I guess that might be why it is $20 off.

Any one with skills on how to load possibly 32-bit drivers w/ a 64-bit machine or can suggest drivers from another manufacturer?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price, works great.

Pros: If you're in the market for one of these - this is the way to go. Works with every drive I've thrown at it up to 2TB. Works with W7, Vista, XP, and Ubuntu.

SD Card reader (none other tested) works OK in W7, untested on other platforms.

I'm thinking about getting another.

Cons: On some of my boxes I had to connect, install whatever it needed to then reboot, then worked fine. My Vista box needs to restart in order to recognize it, but it could be my box.

Other Thoughts: I have NOT tested it on anything except a computer (such as media player).

1 out of 5 eggsEh.. no dice for me

Pros: it would be cool if it could actually support all its features like USB hub and memory card inputs

Cons: Error on both of my macs with no other USB's connectioned "Drawing too much power, device will be shut down." This has never worked. Might work on a PC well, but my Mac pro and g5 it was unsuccessful. No e-sata is really dumb.

Other Thoughts: Maybe you pay for what you get? Sold construction, pretty bummed it didn't work.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than thermaltake's

Pros: Sweet little dock gets the job done under budget, decent power supply, and stable. Gotta love the front end!

Cons: Cheap ports lack the grip of IOGEAR type USB that really grips. Cheap USB cable bends easy. No esata over usb port.

Other Thoughts: Best in Class

5 out of 5 eggsThe perfect docking station!

Pros: This docking station was exactly what I was looking for. A small, easily accessible, and multifunctional unit. I use this docking station to swap out 2TB drives to store/backup large amounts of video. I got tired of the numerous external HDD enclosures that I had which required their own dedicated USB cable and power cord. Now I have just one unit to plug all my HDD's into. The 2 USB ports and card reader on the front of the docking station was an extra bonus.

Cons: None so far
