1 out of 5 eggsDied 3 weeks after 1 year warranty

Pros: Worked well during the warranty period.

Cons: I purchased this power supply on Cyber Monday 2013, it died December, 15 2014. Very light use.

Other Thoughts: Replaced with this:

2 out of 5 eggs4 months and it is dead...

Pros: Love the modular feature. Really easy to run the wires through out the case.

Cons: I've had my system running for a little over 4 months, and this power supply is dead.

Other Thoughts: I've reached out to the manufacturer, but haven't heard back as of yet. I will come back and updated if I ever hear back.

1 out of 5 eggssoap opera?

Pros: none

Cons: Continuing update: i contacted the company (HighPower) for refund/return information, as it is ostensibly still under warranty. That was four days ago... have yet to hear back from them!
Recommend: avoid this company.

1 out of 5 eggsupdate review after 6 months

Pros: Worked quietly... once i corrected the fan clicking that it produced out of the box.
Nice modular design

Cons: Failed after 6 months of light service. This unit absolutely did not live up to its 'gold' name... other than the price i paid for it.
I recommend looking somewhere else for a durable efficient quiet well built power supply.

1 out of 5 eggsMy first dead power supply

Pros: None

Cons: Very stiff flat cables, very noisy fan, annoying humming sound...and the list goes on. Dead after only 6 hours of running memtest, it puts the system in a power loop.

Other Thoughts: I have never had a useless power supply that I have purchased brand new. I usually stick with power supply by Kingwin, Corsair, and Cooler Master, but I thought I give this one a try when I came cross it. This is my first DOA power supply ever. I guess I should have stick to the power supply brands that I always use instead of trying out other ones with uncertain reliability.

5 out of 5 eggsSilent and Efficient Modular Power Supply

Pros: Its a very silent power supply. Even at full load it wont sound any louder than any of my case fans. Its modular so you wont have a clutter of unused cables. Great 80 plus gold efficiency which means you can count on saving power and saving a tree or two.

Cons: Nothing bad enough to knock off an egg although i had the same clicking noise as other users has noticed. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: Initially when i assembled a gaming computer with this power supply i had the same very loud clicking sound the other user noted. I assumed it was the fan that was placed incorrectly or too close to the outside box. But when i opened up the power supply to try to see what was making the noise i noticed a large square piece of yellow duck tape tucked between two capacitors. This tape was the same color as tape placed around some components inside the power supply. Though this piece had no use since it was folded up as if it was about to be discarded. I simply removed the piece of tape and reassembled the power supply. Its been working perfectly and quietly ever since.

4 out of 5 eggsMostly good

Pros: Nice modular power supply.

Cons: Fan clicked noisily against something on every rotation until i pressed on it through the mesh several times. This reduces my confidence in the make quality, and durability of the product.

Other Thoughts: Note: once the fan wasn't clicking against something it seems very quiet.

Note: several of the included cables have ends that will split up to facilitate various combinations (e.g. 4pin CPU supply).
