5 out of 5 eggs4+ years and still truckin'

Pros: Purchases this in January of 2007 and it's still working perfectly in that same PC. I've never had issues with it.

It was extremely cheap.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: It's too bad you can't buy these anymore or I might get another.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap & loud

Pros: CHEAP in price. has 4molex and 1Sata.

Cons: it is actually pretty loud... i have the TV running and i can still hear the fan in the background... the power supply plug socket is in a bad spot and the fact that it sticks out of the supply makes it annoying to screw into the case...but it still screws in with some love.

4 out of 5 eggsi got lucky

Pros: it works so far but ive only had it installed for an hour

Cons: the case of the PSU was damaged. one of the long edges were not aligned with the others, about half an inch further than all the other edges. i guess it looks like it has a dent on the corner at one end, and at the other end there is a small protrusion

Other Thoughts: the reason why i say im lucky is because the defect in the case allowed me to fit the other 3 corners perfectly. had it been shaped perfectly, the plastic/rubber surrounding the power jack would have interfered with my PC's case and would probably not have fit at all.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Power Supply

Pros: It was everything everybody said it was in the positive reviews, Lined up perfectly in my system, an exact match for my tower, install was a breeze, andtogether with my new video card, games i could not play before, run now rather smoothly. Thanks Newegg

Cons: None at all

Other Thoughts: A great Power supply for a replacement, does exactly what its supposed to do, Even though i got the substitute model than the one i ordered, this baby is awesome, no complaints at all. Good thing i got it when i did, i noticed the price went up 10 bucks. But a great budget power supply to say the least.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent enough

Pros: It works and has enough wires. Nice two fans too. Also for 20 dollars for 500 watts!

Cons: I can hear the PSU now, before my older one was silent. So that cost it an egg. Though it is not irritating or so loud.

Other Thoughts: I needed a quick fix after something happened to my older PSU, no clue but this help a lot.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Bought this power for more than 2 weeks, and it's simply working out of box. Give me no trouble, but working quietly. Very pleased!!

Cons: Only 2x SATA connector, but I have 3 hard drivers. Well, a SATA adapter is really cheap these days, so, not really a complaint here. Just a reminder for those who needs more than 2 sata.

Other Thoughts: Some of the review down there looks scary, but this power from dynapower is doing just fine. Big bang for under 20 bucks.

As usual, Newegg rocks, delivery my order one day after placing order!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

Pros: Steady power with low noise and can handle a decent system , gamer level motherboard & graphics card ,especially at a fair price

Cons: took me a little longer to receive this item, probably is becuz the heavy load of thanksgiving deals

Other Thoughts: I have been using this manufacturer's industrial power supplies for my server systems built 5 yrs or so. This is my first time to use their power supply for my own pc system, I was kinda doubtful at the very beginning when I saw their reviews (a bit scary) , however, I decided to give it a shot due to their performance of my server systems. Ever since I tested it in my power test machine to check its multioutput, wattage, temperature, fan speed...etc., it turns out perfectly to me. I don't have the faintest idea what happened to others... full 500W output, low noise level , and steady performance, make it running smoothly in my PC system so far. I am so ready to install Windows 7 and give it to my son as his X'mas gift

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Makes me never want to buy a cheap power supply again!

Cons: Hmm DOA!! I purchased new mobo new cpu new vid card paid a lot for overnight shipping.. Unfortunately I want it up and running so I get another ugly paperweight in a day... Great

Other Thoughts: I saw overall reviews 4 outa 5, well screw that. I can tell this is junk. It's really light for what claims to be 500w.. Stay away from this thing even if the 2nd one I get works I bet it will not last long...

1 out of 5 eggsBEWARE!!!!!!!!

Pros: Worked for 9 months, until it went out in a blaze of glory.

Cons: I was in the bathroom, and I heard what I thought to be firecrackers or a small gun going off. I ran out and found out it was my PC. Power supply was popping and smoking. I jerked the plug out of the wall, and let my case clear of the smoke. If I wouldn't have been at home there's a good chance this thing would have burnt my house down. I've been working on PC's for quite a while, and never saw something like this happen. These things are supposed to have a fuse in them in case of a short. Mine never blew.

Other Thoughts: Lucky my house is still here, and I hope this thing didn't fry the rest of my PC with it. Waiting on a new PSU to test it out.

2 out of 5 eggsJunk.

Pros: Ran at 500W for 3 months!

Cons: Stopped working right out of the blue! I really didn't have much drain on it. I bought this because I figured I'd rather have to much power than to little. When I bought it, it was $30.

Other Thoughts: When it came time to replace a 480W one I accidently shorted out, I figured I'd spend more money and get a better one. Don't buy this if you're on a tight budget. You really don't want it to fail on you. Get one that's a little better built!
