The ST50EF-Plus from Silverstone deliver 500W of power to your system so you have plenty of juice for gaming, file-serving or both. The dual +12V rails provide a balanced output. An Active PFC and >80% efficiency ensure minimal power waste which keeps the PSU cool.
It is equipped with dual 6-pin PCIe connectors. There are also 6 SATA connectors for all of your high speed drives. The cables are partially mesh sleeved to increase air flow and to make management easier.
Pros: Solid build quality, intelligently configured power leads. You can tell this thing was built with one goal in mind - to provide clean power. Stellar performance, easy installation, low noise. This thing is a bargain for ~99
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I use this PSU in my computer at work. We have periodic power spikes/trips that cause all of the workstations to reboot. We had one last week. My PC is not on a UPS. My computer was the only one in the entire site not to reboot. This power supply must have some insane capacitors.

Pros: Quiet, big 120mm fan, steady accurate power, external power switch, long cables for easy reach in my Antec Solo case. Included the 8 to 4 pin connector for CPU power, but not the 24 to 20 pin connector for the MB, no diff to me...24 pin is what I needed anyway.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Very happy...

Pros: 80 plus efficency. They also make a Short Cable Edition. That is the one I have. This powersupply gets about 86% efficiency. Great for SFF PC or regular PC. Great Value for your dollar
VERY QUIET, I can't even tell it's on.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Wish they made this in a modular short cable version. I'd like to pick and choose the cables I want.

Failed after 14 months

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Appears well constructed, ran quietly, cabling is well organized
Cons: It failed on me after 14 months. I used it with zero problems in an always-on HTPC, set to sleep after being idle for some period of time. I always had it plugged into an APC UPS when in use. One day, I went to use it, and noticed that the PC had turned off. I attempted to turn it back on but couldn't. After checking the power cord, etc. I concluded that the power supply had failed. Some testing with a volt-meter seems to have confirmed it.
