The 1200W ZU1200M from Silverstone provides the power you need for your most intense applications. It can deliver the full 1200W continuously at over 80% efficiency. Six +12V rails offer a well balanced power load. Switch from 6x17A rails to 1x95A rail depending on your needs. The auto-switching input can handle all common voltages so all you have to do is plug it in.

The cables are all sheathed to de-clutter the inside of the case, enhancing airflow. The PSU is ready for extreme configurations with 4x6-pin and 2x6+2-pin PCIe connectors. There are also 6 SATA and 6 Molex connectors.

The efficient internal layout only needs 1x80mm fan for cooling. This keeps the noise to a minimum, and it means more power can go to running your system. The system of your dreams needs power; the ZU1200M delivers.

5 out of 5 eggsrunning for 3yrs

Pros: It works. Cables are a bit short for full tower case, imo.

Cons: Has not let me down yet.

Other Thoughts: this unit was a replacement of my OP1000 from silverstone, WHICH WAS A PIECE OF JUNK, after 3 painfull RMA's, they finely asked me what i wanted and told them the best psu you had at that time and silverstone sent new a nib zu1200 and life was back to normal.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU.

Pros: Plenty of outputs, modular setup, quiet, cables are shielded.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: Just adding my review to balance out the idiot that thinks the PSU destroyed his whole system. This is my second purchase from Silverstone, they're a solid company.

1 out of 5 eggsagain i want refund or different psu

Pros: turned on my computer a step up from the last one i recieved, but trashing my computer deserves no pro's what so ever, you might hear from me in a good review if you send me a psu that works, instead of one of there 1st gen ones, after their time, with the warranty void if removed stickers still on it that you have to remove to change the rails.

Cons: destroyed hardware in my computer by only feeding my 9v on the 12 rail. didn't discover this for a while now i'm worried about my whole system. don't ever buy this psu go for a different brand. it wouldn't play any games full screen because i wouldn't deliver power to my graphics cards to allow them to work. well if i get my replacement and it still doesn't work i'm going to keep posting bad reviews.
that 9V kills everything on a computer slowly, and unnoticeably. it seems like a totally different problem when your $1000 worth of graphics cards doesn't work, you tend to think its them, but no since computers can even turn on with bad power amazes me, same with the psu actually working while putting out 9V there need to be protections against this.

Other Thoughts: my processor phenom 9950 went from 30C idle to 40C idle, this is called damage that the power supply did. don't buy this psu it will only give you headaches. 1st one didn't boot but it spun my fans, 2nd didn't turn on, 3rd one trashed my comp.
m3a79-t deluxe
16G gskill ram
2x 4870 x2
this psu (peice of horrible junk thats expensive)
ninja 2 cpu cooler
all gone
joy when your $3000 computer dies before you can even use it fully
i wish that i had gone with a different company, maybe then i wouldn't be stuck with a $750 computer that cost 3000. its hard to let an issue like this slide on a first impression of silverstone. i'm willing to rma my whole comp but i can't, parts are out of warranty and rma possibility. i believe silverstone owes me on this one, but i know that they won't. again horrible company and horrible quality control. and they didn't ever acknowledge their sticker problem.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless

Pros: I had this power supply for about a week, and it's awesome! It does it's job, and ran into no problems so far. Plan to use this power supply for SLI whenever I get the chance. Highly recommend this product.

Cons: None.

1 out of 5 eggsI want my whole refund

Pros: nothing

Cons: it doesn't even turn on, i just ordered this to replace the last silverstone psu that was doa, and i didn't fully trust them so i bought a psu tester and i pluged it into this and flipped on the power and it failed to turn on

Other Thoughts: i want my whole refund, shipping and all, silverstone is probably the worst company with psu's right now it seems like 100% of the ones they give me are doa only 2 but thats enough to say "they really need quality control." don't ever buy a silverstone product untill they fix up their issues

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you very much for purchasing a SilverStone. Getting two straight DOA power supplies is very unlikely so please give our technical support a call at our US office to see if there are anything else that could be causing the problem for you:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply!

Pros: Quality throughout. I am quite pleased with this power supply. I wanted to build a machine with quality parts just once.

Cons: Price. But you get what you pay for. It was worth it.

Other Thoughts: AMD 9850 quadcore cpu, 8 gigs Corsair Dominator RAM, two Asus 3870 X 2 videocards, Antec 1200 case with all of the fans working, 64-bit Windows Vista Ultimate. Two 200 gig Maxtor hdd's. Velociraptors and sound card in the future. All from Newegg.
