5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: It's a regular power supply and I have never had any failure with it, even after many power outages. Reliability all the way.

Cons: Nothing really. Wish it had a digital display to tell me how much much computer is using. That would be boss!

1 out of 5 eggsDo NOT buy Silverstone PSU's

Pros: I thought it was a great price at the time. I thought Silverstone made quality products. I was wrong about the quality. It was cheap for a reason.

Cons: Worked fine for 15 months then just shut off while the computer was idle. (quality UPS used in all my systems) I tried to start the computer after it shut off and it wouldn't start. I replaced the PSU and I was back in business.

I purchased the Silverstone Model OP1000-P from newegg in March 09. Invoice #45587684. This thing is supposed to have a 3 year manufacturer warrantee. I've been trying to get an RMA number for more than a month now without success. I've faxed the official silverstone RMA request along with a copy of my newegg invoice several times. I've made phone calls. I've was told they would email me an RMA number, but it never comes. Silverstone does not stand behind their products.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and purchase a quality PSU. I've never regretted buying PC Power and Cooling, OCZ, Corsair. I paid more money, but I received a quality product. The PSU is vital to the health of your system. Don't waste your money on Silverstone.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you very much for using a SilverStone. We fully stand behind all of the products we sell. Please help us double check the e-mail address that you've provided to us on the RMA request form or your e-mail programs to see if any of our e-mails were blocked.

Your feedback here at Newegg has been reported to our USA RMA department and we will make sure that you are taken care of. We would also encourage to give us a call again at 909-465-9596 and ask for David at the RMA department. Thank you.

5 out of 5 eggsPower!

Pros: 750 watt + Silverstone = Win.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Price is a little high, but the quality can't be beat. Open the package and lift this beast, you can tell it is well built. Ran perfectly with 0 problems. Love it. It isn't real loud.

5 out of 5 eggsBEAST

Pros: Plenty of power. Right now i'm running:
-2x 4890's crossfired
-Phenom II x4 955be
-4g Mushkin ddr3-1600
-640g HD
-Watercooling system
-Several fans

All no problem with this sucker...

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Wish it was modular... but it was a much better combo deal to get an extra 50watts and cheaper price with the Raven RV01 case over the modular one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Works great!

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Bought this to power my EVGA board with an i7 + graphics card. Used a PSU calculating website to try to determine how much power I could possible ever need. Bought the 750W because I wanted my system to be stable, have room for expansion, and to account for any semiconductor wear over the next several years. Plus it had a bunch of great reviews.

I've owned this PSU for about 2 months now and its worked perfectly. No complaints. I also got this PSU with a rebate. Silverstone was quick about getting me my rebate check. (Maybe 2-3 weeks) Which I appreciate because I still haven't received checks for some of the other parts I ordered.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Power Supply

Pros: Very stable output and very powerful power supply with a lot of power connector. Power cables are protected by insulation and very organized.

Cons: Output voltages are a little bit higher than what it supposed to be, but it doesn't hurt the system at all. Also, this power supply draws a lot of current when powering on (enough to dim your room light by a split second), so make sure that your outlets and surge protector are capable to handle this amount of current.

Other Thoughts: Enough PCI-E connectors to do SLI or CrossFire.
