4 out of 5 eggsIt's an okay PSU

Pros: Decent wattage.
Quiet
Maintains my 3770k & radeon hd 7970 fine. s

Cons: Well my other thoughts aren't really cons, just things to mention.

Other Thoughts: You'll want a bigger PSU if you're looking to do any serious SLI/Crossfire configurations or overclock both your cpu&gpu.
I cut corners in my price with the case and the PSU so I got this one. It's a good budget PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Works well. Quiet. I am pleased with the PS

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It took me a little bit to figure out how to plug the PS connections into my motherboard. I got confused because the PS has rounded edges on some of the ends that went into the square ends on the motherboard. I almost thought I bought the wrong PS. I don't know if this was due to the PS or motherboard design. But it works, so I am happy.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA - Not pleased

Pros: Not sure yet because I haven't tested a working model in my build.

Cons: DOA. I built the entire computer, but as soon as I pushed the power button nothing turned on. Tested everything with a different power supply and now everything works fine.

Other Thoughts: I called customer support on sunday before buying the second psu (yes, I know they're not open then) and left a message asking for feedback to see if there might be something else wrong. It's now wednesday and they have yet to call me back.

Waiting for a replacement - if that one's also dead I will be asking for a refund and looking for a psu somewhere else.

3 out of 5 eggsTicking noise

Pros: Well it looks good, it's painted all black, so you better get a black painted case. It has six Sata Power connectors, which is plenty, I only use three so far.

Cons: the first bad thing I've discovered, even before my other stuff got shipped in because of newegg delayed shipping (just had to say it), was that the 8-pin connector to support cpu was split in 2x4 with no explanation anywhere in the manual.
Another weird thing is, that all the SATA connectors are twisted upside down, so when you are trying to plug them in, you have to twist them right side up, which is kinda weird, because the rest of the line is facing other way than you expected it to at the first time ... for example you've got a line with 3 SATA connectors, whe you plud the first one in, then you have twist the next one, but the last one is in right dirrection so you have to twist it again ..

The MOST ANNOYING THING is - that ticking noise - I just put my system together, and like ten minutes after installing the OS something started making a "ticking noise" I thought it is a cable which fell in a fan, I found it is the PSU fan which is Unaccessible, unless you break the waranty... anyways, I knocked on it really gently and it stopped, we'll see if it starts again..

Other Thoughts: when I was ordering this Power SUplier I was thinking of price. For the price it gives you enough of power to run a gaming system, but now I understand why to buy a modular PSU
