This hard disk drive enclosure supports SATA hard disk drives of up to 500GB in capacity and delivers Hi-Speed USB 2.0 data transfer rates of up to 480Mb/s. It is adequate, I wouldn't want to put it in a box for transportation with heavy items. Cons: The assembly is so light that a kink in the USB cord will pull it off the desk. Not worth a -egg though. N/A 10/22/2012 3:29:09 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 2/5Kind of cvheap Pros: Functionally works fine, comes with a screwdriver and USB cable, looks nice Cons: Aluminum is too thin Other Thoughts: I have no qualms at all about the functionality of this enclosure; it works just fine. My gripe is with the build quality. The brushed black aluminum is so thin that after installing and removing a HDD a few times, the screw holes begin to ream out such that the screws actually no longer hold the cover to the frame. The whole assembly just becomes kind of loose over time. With either better screws or a thicker grade of aluminum, this unit would be really nice.
