Saves a USB port (for USB network adapter) Network speeds (latency and throughput) is very good (miles better than USB 2.0 to gbit No problems with USB 3.0 memory sticks, USB 2.0 devices and USB 1.x keyboard, mouse Cons: nothing so far 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Form factor and looks are nice. Cons: Ethernet adapter requires hardware reset after resuming from sleep (in OSX).
