5 out of 5 eggsAmazing.

Pros: I got two orders of these discs for a great price. I've used 20 of the discs so far and none of them have failed.

Cons: They're not on sale anymore!

5 out of 5 eggsWhat!!!

Pros: None of these discs failed on me. Other reviews have reported six DVD+DL discs failing on them. Leaves me to believe that some people need to be more wary of how to run a program that burns and records DVD's. Read other thoughts below to see why.......

Cons: Nothing going to order more in the future....

Other Thoughts: When you burn anything especially media such as dual layer DVD+R you need to keep the burning speed running at half the maximum running speed. (8X Max should be running at 4X) to ensure the data gets written to the disc properly and completely.) Also make sure to ONLY run the burning program and nothing else. In other words do not do anything but let the program run it's full course until the DVD is complete, otherwise you risk losing a DVD.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk Discs

Pros: None

Cons: Very Poor discs..Stopped burning after the 5th disk failed on 3 different machines. Verbatim discs work fine where these failed

Other Thoughts: Avoid...Disc ID is Ritek G05's

4 out of 5 eggsIt's alrite

Pros: large capacity, low price.

Cons: failure rate is around 15%-20%

Other Thoughts: This dual layer disc is alrite, the failure rate is acceptable. For its price, it is a pretty good choice.

4 out of 5 eggsNot that bad

Pros: Okay the discs are cheap and manageable ( i am using a lite-on to burn) the work fine and are dl what else can I say.

Cons: I had two coasters which i feel were not my fault...the rest i missed up on (burning xbox 360 games/boot discs) but there were like 3 discs that also brned bad so in total i had about 5-6 coasters so far and have used 11 disks.

Other Thoughts: not badly priced and inexpensive compared to verbatim

5 out of 5 eggsJust Fine, Thanks!

Pros: Nice Look - Minimal Logo Clutter.
Compatible with my "old" Samsung 202 IDE burner.
No Coasters ... yet
Good Price.
Legendary Brand Name.

Cons: No 100-pack cake boxes @ 75% off (;-)
No Free Shipping

Other Thoughts: These appear to be same batch# as the last Memorexs I had - but these Maxell-branded disks have performed waaay better & are more reliable so far.
Go figure ...

1 out of 5 eggsMOVE ON!

Pros: 50% success rate (if you call that a pro)

Cons: Very bad quality. So bad I reburnt the good copies with a new batch of different brand discs and threw every last one of these in the TRASH. Didn't help the first 2 top discs were ruined from the get go.

Other Thoughts: I would only use these for shooting targets or a pratical joke.

3 out of 5 eggssometimes may be ok

Pros: decent price, decent media quality.

Cons: I opened the pack, put in first blank and start burning using ImgBurn 2.5 and 4X. After 30 secs I got error "Failure to write sector 0-31" - coaster. Pop in another blank, start Nero, select image again and 4X but got similar error message for second coaster. Well, they are cheap, so i take another one, back to ImgBurn, but this time I select 8X and voila, it's burning... I did not restart the machine in between or change img or something else, just swap blank.
Afterwards I was successful in burning about 4-5 of them without error (@8X) using both Nero and ImgBurn, but later on I received the same error and another coaster. I was so upset, I decided to waste another one, but this time I picked 4X... surprise, it worked!?! Go figure.

Other Thoughts: I am using an LG (GH22NS30) burner w/ latest firmware on Win 7 x64.
Media code is Ritek S04 (nobody mentioned it); Made in Taiwan.
Overall, so far I'm having a 25% failure rate, still have to go through the whole batch, but every time I start burning process I'm waiting like 30 secs to see if i need to replace the blank due to a failure. Maybe I was unlucky w/ this batch.
I am not happy, I wanted to RMA, but the cost of shipping back does not worth it, so I rather keep it, I ordered some other media, some other brand (not expensive Verba*), maybe i have better luck, if not I will proceed as everybody else, pay premium price for "premium product" :).
If you go with this, "good luck!", you may need it...
