5 out of 5 eggsperfect

Pros: not a single disk that failed to burn correctly.

Cons: would be nicer if they left more space to label the disks.

Other Thoughts: left my last review june2011. i just finished burning my last dvd disk.
i use them for backup media.
i have not had a single disk fail to burn.
i am confident that failures are either user error, dirt, hair ect.. or a poor quality dvd burner.

5 out of 5 eggsGood DVDs

Pros: Work great (only 1 bad out of about 20 discs so far)
Great price

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The one that was bad I had the burner set on "Max". I've been burning everything else at 8x and not another bad one. I picked these because they actually had some color on the top of the discs and weren't just shiny (it's so annoying trying to figure out the top from bottom in a hurry).

5 out of 5 eggsdisks work just fine.

Pros: these disks work just fine. i bought a large 120disk cd wallet and have been making backups of my games and movies and filling the case up.. sofar i have burnt about 20 of these disks.. i have not had a single one fail..

Cons: no lightscribe. but i didnt pay for lightscribe :D

Other Thoughts: i think the reason people are having failures is because they dont know what they are doing..
these disks are 16x, if you try burning something at the maximum speed of 32x you shouldent be supprised that every disk fails.. if you get any dust or fingerprints on the bottom side of the disk before you burn to it. the disk will fail. rom drives have a simple auto correction for read errors. but that doesent work for writing to the disk. if there is dust or fingerprints on the disk the lazer will be unable to penitrate it and actually burn the data. so when you try to verify or use the disk it will fail because you are missing data..

5 out of 5 eggsBurns just fine at 6x

Pros: I just bought some more of these disc after running out of them and these burn just as good as the last.

I've truly have had zero coasters and for anyone experiencing problems I believe it could be either you're burning to fast or maybe your burner don't like the media.

I recommend burning anything at 6x and max at 8x.
Just because it can burn at 16x doesn't mean you should.

I've have had amazing luck with my samsung burner burning between 6 and 8x with zero coasters.

I highly recommend HP media if you have a good burner and you're not picky about burning at top speeds.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Just keep in mind the slower you burn the less coasters you will have.

I understand that's not the case for everyone because your burner may not like this media however for the most part slow burning saves many disc.

1 out of 5 eggsWaste of money and plastic

Pros: Nothing at all

Cons: 9 out of 10 discs fail. Never happens with other brands, even the ones i never herd of. I expect 5 or 6 out of 100 but not almost every one. I have burned 25 dvds so far, and 3 have actually worked, all the others have failed. On top of that they cost twice as much as the others i was using.

Other Thoughts: I will never purchase another HP dvd again.

2 out of 5 eggsA few coasters

Pros: great deal - price & free shipping. Good name if you don't take into account their Vectra PCs - but that was a long time ago

Cons: Just finished 100 pc cakebox. About 20 coasters. Not as many as some brands on the toshiba writer in my PC but annoying. Can't complain for the price & free shipping but lost a lot of time retrying. Worked 100% on toshiba deck. Ri Data works best on my PC. Amazingly, Memorex, too.
