5 out of 5 eggsWorks for me

Pros: 2 of them have worked well for over 18 mos. Even powered my external backup drive w/o the power adapter and it recharges my MP3 player. Use Velcro to hold in place, and it's been moved a few times. I just tried it and it supports my cordless mouse reciver. Was looking for them today to buy at least 2 more, thought I would add a review here. Has all my requirements: it's cheap and it works and has done so 18 mos+.

Cons: None. See above. What's not to like.

Other Thoughts: Own 2, going to buy at least 2 more today.

3 out of 5 eggsWeird USB Trouble

Pros: It works.

Cons: The computer wont boot with it plugged into the USB port and powered.

Other Thoughts: The computer that it was plugged into wouldn't boot. After troubleshooting, I found that the power from the USB hub was feeding back into the computer and messing up the voltages on the motherboard! Unplugging the USB hub allowed the comp. to boot again. Strang behavior.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent USB HUB

Pros: This product is perfect and inexpensive. I have been looking for a low cost hub that would compliment my MACs and this filled the bill. The most important feature that other hubs where unable to do was to sleep properly, and send sleep commands to the peripherals attached to it.

Cons: None, it true works per standard and is perfect.

Other Thoughts: Definite buy. Bought two and both work flawless.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Little Device

Pros: Small device, external power supply in the package, ports are powered ports, LED's indicate device connection. Has a solid feel. It is also really inexpensive.

Cons: None.

Some might find it a bit small, but I prefer this size as it hides next to my monitor well.

I would have liked power coming out of the back, but they are all similarly shaped now, so no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Solid USB hub. Ports are powered which was important to me as I wanted to charge my phone on one of the USB ports (not all hubs have powered ports btw). Phone software works properly and phone charges correctly.

I have a PDA, keyboard (with two USB ports on it), and thumb drive and trackball (connected through my keyboard USB port) and my RAZR V3x all connected to this hub simultaneously. It has been up and running for a couple months now. Absolutely no problems. Works as it is supposed to.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: It's so simple that it's hard to mess it up, and the included power adaptor makes it great for running power-hungry devices at home. I also think the multiple LEDs are great.

Cons: It's not the most handsome device out there.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine so far

Pros: Small/rectangular/not ugly (or aerodynamic, like some companies seem to think they need to be). Built-in cable; so no worries about that cable coming loose or another connector wearing out on the unit. LEDs to show which port has something in it (just in case you don't notice the device hanging out of said port). Transfer rate seems fine for the USB v1.1 port to which it's connected.

Cons: The built-in cable is a bit short (~24"), but it should stretch from the back to the front of your computer.

Other Thoughts: I ran it to the top of my old Dell Dimension tower and velcroed (sp?) it down near the front, set back just a few inches so my flash drive won't be hanging out in the danger zone of swinging legs and chairs.
