1 out of 5 eggsDoes not live up to it's specs

Pros: Lights are pretty, it works & Neweggs always prompt shipping and delivery!

Cons: The included USB cable is to short, and it is not USB 2.0 compliant even though it has a fancy sticker that proclaims it to be. I built the computer I use and know that my USB ports are 2.0 compliant. Unplugged or plugged in I get the same message from Windows that says my device would be faster if it were plugged into a 2.0 compatible USB port.

Other Thoughts: I will not be buying any products from Link Depot again.

1 out of 5 eggswow. simply WOW!

Pros: none

Cons: the silly lights
the tight ports
the fact that it doesn't even know it's supposed to be usb 2.0
the fact that it will lose all knowledge of a device being plugged in
too much more to list

Other Thoughts: This has to be the worst USB hub ever made. I made the stupid mistake of buying this thing before I checked out the reviews. As all reviewers before me has said this is the stupidest thing ever made. What is up with the silly light in the middle that keeps constantly changing colors? Why ae there so many different colored LEDs on the thing to begin with? The LEDs wouldn't have been so bad if they turned on when you plug some hardware in but there are on all the time you have the thing plugged into the computer. I have a lot more bad things to say but Newegg only allows 1000 characters so I'll stop right here and say DO NO BUY THIS THING!!!!! you have been warned.

too bad you can't select 0 eggs

1 out of 5 eggsThis Product Stinks!

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Literally Everything. The lights are annoying, it is cheaply made, it doesn't support external hard drives, I feel like I will break it if I hold it too tightly.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth the price

Pros: It works as a 1.1 hub.

Cons: It doesn't work as a 2.0 Hub which is what I bought it for.

Other Thoughts: The flashing lights are really annoying and don't shut off unless you unplug the power supply.

1 out of 5 eggsStarship Enterprise

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Consistently drops out. Ipod connection warns of being a 1.1 version connection. Not trustworthy on using it for hard drives since it may just stop working. This happens on the MAC and the PC. Equal opportunity disappointment!!! I thought the problem may have been with my older mac and a PC being a PC, but these issues follow it even with newer MacBookPro.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy it!

1 out of 5 eggsdoes not work for me

Pros: The LED lights are useful if you don't have any other lighting available.

Cons: * The hub does not work. Devices connected cannot be seen/accessed by computer.
* The hub flashes different color lights all the time, this is very annoying and there's no way to turn it off. Consider burying it under stuff if the lights are annoying.

Other Thoughts: It is possible that this one device I received was DOA. However for the price I paid it wasn't worth the effort to return it. Therefore, my advice: don't buy this.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes nto work properly

Pros: I does work as a standard non-powered hub.

Cons: You may as well throw away the power pack that it comes with, it does not have enough juice to power anything that you connect to it. If you plan to plug in anything that needs power from the usb port, (mp3 player, flash drive, lighted keyboard, mini hard drive, cell phone) don't bother. This cant provide enough power to do any of it.

Other Thoughts: If all you want to do it plug in things like basic keyboards, mice, or printers, then this may work for you. Oh and if you don't mind the dreaking disco light show this thing outputs. The led in the center changes color a few times a second and is very bright and annoying. Maybe if they weren't running 10 leds they could actually provide power to the ports.

2 out of 5 eggsDont buy it

Pros: Works

Cons: It broke after a few months. The pc connector is only anchored to the main board by solder! No screws, no glue, no nothing, just solder. One little tug in any direction breaks the connector and its a doorstop.

The lights get annoying.
