4 out of 5 eggsOriented for systems where PSU is housed at the bottom of the case.

Pros: Nice little compact unit that had a bit more heft then I expected from a cheap PSU. Works fine for my application. 2 SATA, 4 molex, and two old floppy connectors means there should be more than enough connectivity for your small PC application.

Cons: PSU is designed for cases where the power supply is housed at the bottom; if your system houses the power supply at the top, you can install it upside down (mATX screw holes aren't aligned in such a way that would require you to drill new holes in the case), but you won't be able to see the label.

Other Thoughts: This PSU was included with a case I bought from newegg as a bundle deal, otherwise I would have chosen a different unit, but functionally, there's nothing wrong with it.

1 out of 5 eggsAre you kidding me....its not a MicroATX!?

Pros: none.

Cons: clamps and Wendy were right - this psu doesn't fit my Pavilion. And it costs more to return it that it cost to purchase the item. Newegg Fail!

Other Thoughts: I also spoke to the manufacturer. They said they have repeated asked NewEgg to correct the listing (it should be Micro SFX, not MicroATX). So, I'm stuck. I'll try French Fry instead.

Manufacturer Response:

We at Athena Power apologize for the inconvenience, this PSU has the SFX form factor and is compatible with all ATX motherboards. Please contact us at service@athenapower.us or call us at (626) 810-5008 and a service representative may be able to assist you. Thank you.

5 out of 5 eggsAthena 300W Micro PSU

Pros: It has all the connections needed to breathe new life into an older IBM desktop that died maybe because of a storm earlier this summer. finally got around to buying a replacement and installing. as soon as i installed and hookedup it turned on. had enough peripheral power connectors, the 4-pin for cpu, and the 20+4 pin came apart to fit the 20 pin MB.

Cons: All the mounting screws didnt line up but was expecting that due to the IBM build and standard micro ATX psu. had enough match up to make it secure. no fan connector

Other Thoughts: nice and small. good replacement for smaller cases.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it should.

Pros: Perfect replacement for those tiny PCs.
