1 out of 5 eggsQuiet but does not last

Pros: Pretty quiet and stable current

Cons: I have lost 3 of them so far. One after a week (got an exchange) The other two were gone within the first few months.

Other Thoughts: Not enough connectors for additional server power.

2 out of 5 eggsHOT!

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: produces lots of heat, even when the computer sits idle. While it's fine in a larger case, thermals may become a problem in a smaller case.

4 out of 5 eggsJust perfect

Pros: This unit is really perfect for a low consumption setup. I'm using this power supply to powered an ASUS E35M1-M PRO motherboard and an SSD. The fan on this unit is very silent and perfect for a quiet environment. According to my monitoring system, the power deliver by this power supply is very stable and accurate.

Cons: My 1U server case was not standard. Custom modification was required to make the power supply fitting.

4 out of 5 eggsShort cords

Pros: Reasonably efficient. Active PFC. Fans are not too loud.

Cons: Cables are short. Having previously bought their similar 250W model, I expected this, and only purchased two of these for a case where I knew I could get away with the short cables. If you are using it in a larger case, you will probably want an extension or two.

Also it gets a bit hot--I would gladly accept a bit more noise in exchange for better air flow through these.

Other Thoughts: Using these to power two Mini-ITX boards, with one 2.5" disk in each, 24/7.
