5 out of 5 eggsBought this PSU in 2009

Pros: I bought this psu i 2009. It JUST popped this morning about an hour ago. That's 6 years. Not bad. At the time of death I had 1 ssd, 2 hard drives, 1 R9 270x, dvd drive, and a fan running off of it. What a champ. Definitely recommend this PSU.

Cons: Hopefully it didn't take anything out with it.

Other Thoughts: Definitely recommended for purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for several years now.

Pros: Stable, long lasting

Cons: Not fancy.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a temporary replacement for a much more expensive power supply that I had to do an RMA on due to a burning smell. This little Power unit has worked so well that i never had to put the replacement powersupply back in. It has been a solid performer for 4 years now. Great purchase on my part.

4 out of 5 eggs5 years - then popped

Pros: Plenty of power
Cheap
Reliable
When it did pop, nothing else died with it.

Cons: Only one PCI-E power connector

Other Thoughts: After 5 years of ownership and being installed in my gaming PC, it decided to pop and die on me. Over that time, I have had one video card fail, two harddrives fail, all due to putting so many hours of use on them.
When it did pop, nothing else went with it - and that is a huge plus to me.
Plan on ordering another, very hard to beat this PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Well they are decently cheap power supplies can can handle single gpu configurations. I usually buy 80 plus certified power supplies but for budget gaming builds I usually use these. I have had about 5 or 6 of these and none of them have died, (the earliest one I bought was about 18 months ago.).

Cons: The biggest con is the length of the P4 cord. If you have a bottom mount psu case ( like most cases these days) then watch out because the cord may not reach the terminal. If you have a top mount psu case then it shouldn't be a problem.

1 out of 5 eggsBlew Up Could See Smoke

Pros: Pretty much same as most other power supplies

Cons: Cheap quality, I got to used this power supply for 2 months ..... funnily enough it blew up just a month after the 30 day return. It literally gave a looud POP and after 5 seconds I could smell smoke and even see some light gray smoke coming out of the computer. I still don't know if it damaged other components or not. Guess ill find out when I get a brand name power supply this time.

Other Thoughts: I installed this on a custom self built computer. Avoid and save yourself 25 bucks.

1 out of 5 eggsNO 8 pin mobo cpu power connector

Pros: cheap, provides power

Cons: This does NOT have an 8 pin cpu power connector, only a 4...i foolishly assumed they all came with 8's now-a-days. Don't make the same mistake I did. You can still use a 4 pin where an 8 pin is needed but i would not recommend overclocking if that is what you are doing.

Other Thoughts: seems to work fine only had it a day
