5 out of 5 eggsNearly 2 years of usage and this thing is still strong

Pros: This PSU has been in use for nearly two years and it is still functioning like the day i received it. That's all i can ask of a PSU. Fan is quiet. This PSU has long outlasted my expectations.

Unit used in a old overclocked gaming system in other thoughts.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: System PSU used in:
Phenom II x2 555BE Quad core unlocked @ 4ghz
Mugen Scythe Cooler
4gb 1866mhz ram
GTX 465 @ 750mhz core
4 HDD's
2 DVDRW-combo drives
7 case fans
Multimedia card reader
Seriously thought this PSU would die in a couple months but I like being proven wrong.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: One month of awesome usage.

Cons: After your month expires so does your power supply. It worked flawlessly for one month and then one morning I go to turn on the puter and no signs of life. None. No beeps. No lights. More life would be found on Mars.

4 out of 5 eggsGood quality

Pros: This power supply is good quality and mostly modular. Handled my i7 system fine with no problems for over a year, and still works. The +12v rails seem to supply sufficient amperage for the single graphics card I have.

Cons: The description was/is very convoluted, and led me to believe that this power supply was a 1080W continuous power, when it is not. The MODEL number is 1080, but the actual continuous power is 800W.

Other Thoughts: The main cable does include a PCI-e that could have been extracted to make it more customizable/modular. I am not sure if this power supply could handle multiple graphics cards, +12v rails may not be able to supply sufficient amperage I was always against using off-brand name items, but this made me reconsider.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: System is running great, dont think any issues are caused by lack of power.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Wish i could have found one with red leds, doesn't match the other fans or case at all.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks promising, don't let the positive reviews fool

Pros: Looks good, packaged well, lots of features.

Cons: Completely died after a little over a month. System was only being used for maybe 10 hours total when the PSU gave up the ghost.

Other Thoughts: I've been burned by so many cheap PSU's in the past, it really is silly to cheap out on your PSU. Buy a Corsair or something.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome, but blue

Pros: more power than i need... mostly modular.. works like its supposed to. for over a month now.

Cons: why do they insist on puting colored leds in power supplies, or at least give us an option to choose to turn it off. guess it isn't a con, since i didn't really think about changing my color scheem till after i ordered it.

Other Thoughts: there isan extra cpu plug?.. would have been much simpler and neater to have just a 4+4 instead of that and a 8 pin, but im using the 8 pin so i guess i souldn't complain.
also, haven't we evolved passed floppy's, when was the last time anyone needed 1.44 mb of data... molexes suck too, there has to be a better way!?

5 out of 5 eggsBest power supply for the price

Pros: I did a lot of searching for a power supply when it came time to upgrade. I went with this supply because it was modular and and the a lot of output for the price. I was trying to find the best powersupply that could support SLI and i7 CPU and sill spend under $100. Fits in my case with no issue.

Cons: Nothing major to complain about.

Other Thoughts: It cranked up on the firs time I tried to turn my computer is on. It's still running like a champ and I've been running it 24 hours a day for over a week. Some people have complained about DOA or dying after a week or so. If this happens to mine I'll be sure to do another a review. I always appreciate it when people follow up on major computer components. Worth the buy for sure.
