great product
- Pros: The connectors are neatly orgainzed and sheathed so there's not loose wires hanging all over the place adn the power output is more than adequate. Nice black finish, and the LED light isn't so bright as to be annoying.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: This psu doesn't seem to be any louder than any other psu I've had before. Though unlike other people, a noisy psu does not bother me. Thank goodness OCZ was smart enought NOT to include modular cables with this. And for anyone currently in the market for a psu I have this to say: STAY AWAY from modular cables. They may the new "fad" but truth be told modular cables have more resistance and thus provide less electrical output. The pins are also prone to greater wear which means 6 month or a year down the road you won't be getting the same clean connection you used to get, which will subsequently result is less power output. Modular cables are a marketing gimick and nothing more. I think as time goes on their design flaws while come to light.
Amazing
- Pros: Stable rails, almost 5 ft long sata and 4pin strands, 6 plugs of each. Well packaged and attractived psu. 4 +12V rails, label confirms it.
- Cons: Only that it costs this much to get a reliable, powerful, and attractive psu
- Other Thoughts: Any doubts, get this. I did my research and this is a rebranded Fortron Epsilons, one of the best makers. A modular system increases resistance on the lines and thus drops psu performance and reliability

Works Great Then Dies
- Pros: Lots of connections, and works like a champ for about 13 months.
- Cons: Died after 13 months, now I'm dealing with the RMA process. Their site says they got it on 16 Dec, but nothing has shipped yet and its the 26th. They say its a exchange process and you don't have to wait for yours to be repaired, but now I'm with out my desktop for over 3 weeks now. Guess I'll have to purchase a power supply local!
Good, but...
- Pros: Did everything I wanted. Has plenty of connectors including 2 PCIE's, the motherboard connectors, etc. It is also sleeved.
- Cons: Almost too many cables, a con for me, not for others.
- Other Thoughts: After about 2 years my computer would have random bouts of bluescreens that would last for 2-3 hours. Finally tested the PSU and the voltages were all over the place. Finally died on me 3 days ago. Just sent in a ticket and I hope I don't get shafted from the holidays because the warranty expires soon...

Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry for the problem. You should not have any issues with your warranty, as long as you purchased less than 3 years ago. Your initial contact date will be considered you RMA date for warranty purposes. Thank you
OCZ PSU rundown
- Pros: cheap, high 12 volt amper specs, plenty of sata / pci-e, and molex connectors.
- Cons: multiple 12 volt rails ( 4). I was disappointed by the poor quality of the internal components. Is very lightweight ( in a bad way).
- Other Thoughts: This PSU works as advertised and runs quiet. I am used to the ultra high quality of the PC power and cooling PSUs ( a OCZ company) I have used for my last two gaming rigs. Only time will tell if my decision to go with the lower end model was a bad one.
