sad, but waiting on replacement
- Pros: shipped fast, at a cost. Only very poor so review readers see this and dont get discouraged. Other wise it would be an eggcelent. choose FedEx, and avoid what happened to me.
- Cons: box looked like it had been thrown off a bridge a few times, and then dragged behind the truck to my house. it was DOA, so I never got to try it out. will update when I get the replacement.
- Other Thoughts: Mine came DOA. Currently waiting on Replacement from Newegg. I put it in, hooked it up, put my case back together, and plugged everything in. when I plugged the PSU into the wall, there was a loud pop, and a big golden spark. It didnt damage my board or CPU, but the PSU was dead. My thought is UPS needs a good kick in the A**, because i have had problems with them in the past(home and at my job). The box it got to me in was really beat up(crushed corners, rips, and a retape by UPS, indicating the box was beaten open in transit) I made the driver stand and wait while i inspected the box and contents, before signing for it. The PSU box looked Okay, but obviously the PSU wasnt. I will now choose the fedex option for future purchases. Its not neweggs fault, nor is it OCZs, and possibly not even UPSs. It was either damaged in transit, or it was a lemon, which both happen in the real world. In the last 6 months, UPS shipping quality has gone bad

Manufacturer Response:Hello, as you have found, rough shipping can cause damage to internal components. This review is intended for the product itself and not meant to rate the shipping service. Please come back and rate this PSU again after you receive a working unit. We wish you better luck with shipping. Thank you
Very Satisfied
- Pros: 1. Truly quiet under normal load.
2. Included fan does push plenty of air. 3. Modular cable management makes my system very clean and neat. 4. Blue LED is bright enough that I don't need a flashlight when inspecting the case under my table. 5. The system has been very stable so far. 6. The unit ensures that there's enough juice to run additional hardwares in the future.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: Config: [Intel Core 2 Q6600][MSI P35 Neo2-FR][OCZ Platinum R2 2GB][GeForce 8500GT][Creative Audigy Soundcard][1x 36GB WD Raptor, 1x 500GB Seagate SATA HD]
Blue Power Ranger
- Pros: Provides 780 Watts of clean power, >80% certification, modular cabling, quiet, blue LED cooling fan, reasonable price, what's not to like?
- Cons: Cables could be slightly longer... Antec 900 'power supply on the bottom of the case' made routing the cables a bit of a chore. Couldn't completely 'hide' them. Slightly less than optimal... but no biggie.
- Other Thoughts: Only the fan on my 8800 GTX and the giant top fan of my case aren't Blue now... 6 others are. Makes a nice cool blue glow at night. Hasn't really helped my game play though! ;)
