Okay, it's a power supply. No gaudy LEDs, no fancy decorations, just quiet performance. 600 watts of electrical muscle. Four +12V rails, each with a maximum of 18 Amperes. It can auto-sense your input voltage from 90Vac to 264Vac, 50/60Hz. No more voltage selector switches!
Run cooler, too, because it is certified to be 80% (typical load) efficient, meaning less waste heat from the supply and smaller electrical bills. Compatible with ATX 2.2 systems, it has a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 100,000 hours or about eleven years! So they have no problem offering a three year power-swap warranty. Nvidia SLI support. Active power factor correction means clean power even in noisier environments.

A great PSU but not for legacy equipment
- Pros: This is a very well designed 600 watts PSU. It's very quiet and has excellent voltage/current output ratios. It has FOUR 12V rails that run steady at 18 amps each!! The 3.3V rail runs at 36 amps and the 5V at 30 amps!!! It also has a large 120 mm fan and it's backed up by a 3 year warranty! Plus, it's an OCZ. What else is there to say?
- Cons: I was disappointed with the few molex connectors this unit came packed with. The unit had plenty of connectors to power PCI-e cards and Intel Core 2 Duo type processors, etc. However, if you have some "legacy" equipment in your machine that still requires molex type connectors (i.e., PATA HDD, fans, more than one CD/DVD drive, etc.) you may want to think twice about this unit. Here's a list of all the connectors it comes with:
1 x Main connector (20+4Pin) 1 x 12V(4/8Pin) 6 x peripheral (only 4 molex!!!) 3 x SATA 2 x Floppy 2 x PCI-E
- Other Thoughts: The current output that this unit has is indeed very impressive. Forget about the total number of watts; higher amperage ratings will give you more stability, period. Not very many units combine these many 12V rails with this much amperage!
If you're looking to power up a new rig (or one not older than 2006) this puppie is the one you're looking for. If, on the other hand, your rig is older than 2006 (with LOTS of molex connectors), you may want to think twice about it--unless, of course, you have adapter connectors that convert SATA power to PATA, for example.
Good and Quiet
- Pros: Quiet, simple, powerful enough for most setups.
- Cons: Couldn't reach the cpu power plugin on my antec p182, plan on getting an extension or two if you use a case that has a bottom mounted psu. One of the back screw sockets was also drilled in crooked, but it's not really needed to secure the psu anyway.
- Other Thoughts: Powerful enough for gaming, quiet enough to sleep next to.

A little too late
- Pros: Very quiet, silent operation and does what it's suppose to do. Provides more than enough adequate power for my build.
Bought it from zipperzoomfly for 69.00 and no shipping. They had the deal going much throughout October. No brainer seeing newegg was a little too late being unable to match the price and no shipping of zipperzoomfly Sorry newegg, money overrides loyalty.
- Cons: Newegg seems to be a little slow these days matching the competitor's deal prices and shipping.
I'm keeping my eyes open for no shipping on a new case. A competitor may get my money if the offer/deal beats newegg. Seems that's not to hard to do these days, especially PC cases.
- Pros: grabbed this a year ago today hasn't failed all the rails stay with in specs... good power supply.
- Cons: it went up in price so i can't buy another one???
- Other Thoughts: this is just a rebaged FSP group power supply
Solid PSU
- Pros: I bought this power supply 18 months ago. I used it with an AMD 6000+ oc'd to 3.2ghz, 2 8800gt's in SLI, 2 sata hard drives, and 2 sata optical drives without a hiccup. It has provided stable and quiet power the entire time. I did quite a bit of research before I bought this PSU and when I found that this 600w psu actually puts out 700w at 80% efficiency, I was sold. I love the idea of getting for all intents and purposes a 700w psu for the price of a 600.
- Cons: Only has 3 sata power connectors, its plainly stated in the specs but I thought i'd bring it up because that is the one thing I wish it had more of. No biggie with splitters, but its good to know if you plan on having multiple sata drives.
- Other Thoughts: No frills good PSU. Puts out 700w and will power me for another 18 months easily im sure, at least until my next upgrade when I go hex core. If you are looking for an inexpensive solid psu, then this is a good one.
