5 out of 5 eggs4 Years and its still working

Pros: This thing has been working fine for 4 years. Way better than my previous two power supplies, the first dying within 4 months, the second lasting only a year.

It has a solid, heavy feel to it, I am not surprised it has worked for so long.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsQuit after 3.5 years

Pros: It worked well while it worked. I wrote a positive review last year, unfortunately.

Cons: It only worked for 3 and a half years (3 year warranty), then it just completely stopped working. At least it didn't ruin any of my components; it just suddenly ceased to function.

Other Thoughts: I guess the short warranty should've been a warning.

3 out of 5 eggsLasted 3 years, 3 days

Pros: Modular cables are nice but I ended up using all of them anyway so it was a moot point.

Cons: Motherboard cables barely reached my board; this was in a mid-size tower too.

Other Thoughts: It is now dead just a few days outside the warranty. Worked well the entire duration I had it though until it "popped" during a game of Hearthstone, costing me the match.

2 out of 5 eggsShort/bad cables, bad short protection

Pros: Worked for a year

Cons: Short cables were under stress. After a while the hard drive cables shorted and the power supply went out and took the motherboard with it. Also, the CPU power cable barely reached the other side of the motherboard with the video card in the way.

3 out of 5 eggsFan died after 5 years

Pros: Held its own, until the fan died last year.

Had this nice PSU since 2009.
I didn't know the fan died until I started getting freezes every couple of days. Then checking everything & noticed the fan doesn't spin. It held up because I have a huge Zalman GS1000 case and had an additional fan installed underneath the PSU. It will freeze when I run a lot of programs only. But otherwise remarkable still holds up when ran under normal operations.

I will try to replace the fan and use this PSU as an emergency back up, if the new fan doesn't work in it I will brick it.

Cons: The only con was the fan failure.

2 out of 5 eggsLasted 3 years

Pros: Worked fine while it lasted. Modular feature was nice, cords are braided, quiet, low heat.

Cons: Died two months out of its 3-year warranty. No changes or extreme conditions to cause this. I expected a little more from the brand.

5 out of 5 eggsFirePower ModXStream works perfectly

Pros: Easy to install
Nicely nylon wrapped cables
Labels are easy to read

Cons: Nylon wrap means it is not as easily flexed
May need some strength to get cords to the right location

3 out of 5 eggsGood While It Lasted

Pros: Modular. Easy to Install. Worked well while it worked.

Cons: Bought 4 of these for 4 different computers. 3 of them lasted a trouble-free 3 years. After the warranty expired, the 4th year: 1 fried completely, taking out a hard drive with it. 1 provided intermittent power to a DVDR drive, which dropped from the system after every use. 1 the fan stopped working.

I haven't done an in-depth analysis of the 4th one yet for issues, but I wouldn't expect it to last more than a couple more months at this rate.

Other Thoughts: If you get a good price on it, and don't expect it to last much longer than the warranty period, it's not a bad power supply.

Would have preferred 3 SATA modular plugs and 1 MOLEX instead of 2 and 2. Only used MOLEX for case fans and one old hard drive. Really, not many people use them anymore to warrant 2 MOLEX cables.
