3 out of 5 eggsDied after 5 years

Pros: Semi-modular design. 600W is plenty for my non-overclocking Core i5 2500K. Quiet.

Cons: It suddenly died after serving me for 5 years. No signs.

Other Thoughts: It astonished me that the last several reviewers all pointed out this unit died after 5~6 years. Looks like that is the designed life span.

4 out of 5 eggsMine recently went dead.

Pros: Quiet and stable, huge fan. It did not damage any other components when it failed.

Cons: Went out with a pop a few days ago.

Other Thoughts: It had been running 24/7 for the past 5 1/2 years. Replaced with an EVGA Bronze 600, today.

5 out of 5 eggsRest in peace

Pros: I've had this power supply for 5 years, it finally died. We've been through a lot and I'll miss it.

Cons: Sometimes it would turn the computer off randomly.

Other Thoughts: May I meet you again in the great rig in the sky

5 out of 5 eggsStill running after 6 years.

Pros: Modular design cable.
It has been reliable, running 24/7.

Cons: Need more SATA connectors.

Other Thoughts: I've been using this exact same PSU since my core 2 duo setup, and now it's running my i5-3570K setup without issues.

5 out of 5 eggs4 Years and its still working

Pros: This thing has been working fine for 4 years. Way better than my previous two power supplies, the first dying within 4 months, the second lasting only a year.

It has a solid, heavy feel to it, I am not surprised it has worked for so long.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsQuit after 3.5 years

Pros: It worked well while it worked. I wrote a positive review last year, unfortunately.

Cons: It only worked for 3 and a half years (3 year warranty), then it just completely stopped working. At least it didn't ruin any of my components; it just suddenly ceased to function.

Other Thoughts: I guess the short warranty should've been a warning.

3 out of 5 eggsLasted 3 years, 3 days

Pros: Modular cables are nice but I ended up using all of them anyway so it was a moot point.

Cons: Motherboard cables barely reached my board; this was in a mid-size tower too.

Other Thoughts: It is now dead just a few days outside the warranty. Worked well the entire duration I had it though until it "popped" during a game of Hearthstone, costing me the match.
