Other Thoughts: It's hard to review a PSU because you will only know its value years down the road. I adored my PSU for the four years that I had it, and have no regrets for the purchase. I plan on buying this brand or something similar.

Pros: Now that it is dead, none really

Cons: Died after only two years of moderate use by my non gaming, non-productivity software using, entirely web browsing non-computer literate father. OCZ you need to respond and honor your supposed three year warranty.

Pros: Quiet
Good lifespan
Low cost compared to other solutions
Somewhat modular

Cons: None so far. Others have complained about cable length but I did not have any issue in the Lexa S that I purchased along with the powersupply.

Other Thoughts: I am planning on some upgrades to the box. Looks like the powersupply will be able to handle what I will be throwing at it (mid-range gaming machine) and then some.

Pros: Coming up on 5 years of ownership (2/2010). this PSU is still pumping out the watts.

Cons: the 24-pin harness could be better covered, but hey, when your hiding cables these days who cares what theyre covered with.

Other Thoughts: its really quiet, so quiet that i have to remind myself that the fan is thermally controlled

Pros: I've had this power supply for over 4 years, since it replaced one that died in Aug 2010, and there have been absolutely no issues at all. I have consistently had it powered on for at least an average of 4 hrs (probably longer) every day, and it has been exposed to multiple power outages and similar electrical anomalies over the years, yet it continues to work. In this time frame no components have suffered any power related failures - I've lost only 1 hard drive (of 4+) to gradually increasing read/write error rates.

I have no intention of replacing it any time soon, so we'll see how far it gets towards that rated 100k hr MTBF - another 9 years at current usage patterns would only put me at about 27k... will we still be using ATX connectors by then?

Cons: The only potential con I can think of is how easy it is to misplace any previously unneeded modular cable over years of disuse. However, this applies to all modular power supplies on the market; personally I thought that the literal years of cable management benefits greatly outweighed the ~$5 for a SATA to Molex adapter when it finally came time to use the now missing cable.

To this end, it would be really nice if manufacturers in general, including OCZ, would make it possible to buy additional modular cables a la carte for when these circumstances inevitably arise.

Other Thoughts: I recently ordered an OCZ Vector ssd, and can only hope that it holds up half as well.

Pros: preformance,price,and looks good also.very quiet moves a lot of air.

Cons: none whats so ever.

Other Thoughts: i have 2 of these 600 w and 700watt what an excellent upgrade to any system im so sorry i havent upgraded sooner i would reccommend this to anyone 100%

Pros: I've had this power supply since 2009. It has been in 3 computers and is still going strong. Not the quietest of power supplies but it certainly has had no hiccups. Highly recommended product as long as they haven't changed the recipe

Cons: A little loud, but that could be because its in an HTPC. It isn't any different in noise from others, but I'm sure power supplies have gotten quieter since

Cons: The PCI-e power to the video cards were both dead. I bought a Corsair instead and sent this one back for a refund

Low cost compared to what I paid for it. I'm not complaining about what I paid. I feel since it has lasted so long I've gotten my monies worth.

It's still running 4 1/2 years later! Not one issue with it. It has been on almost continually over the last 4.5 years as well.

Mine came with lots of adapters / plugs and a nice little bag to store the extra stuff you dont use.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: At this price I would by it again. I just dont have the need to build another unit right now. Buy it! It's a nice unit.

Pros: Three years and still running without any problems
