The StealthXStream from OCZ is designed to do its job with a minimum of fuss and bother. That’s why they painted the housing and fan grill black and used a fan with no LEDs. The PSU will supply power quietly and efficiently letting you get on with your work with no distractions.

The PSU is ready for your SLi or CrossFire configuration with 2xPCIe connection. There are also 6xSATA, 6xMolex and 2xFloppy connector so you load your system however you need to. A four rail configuration balances the power output for consistent performance.

Keeping it cool is a 120mm fan and an openwork grille on the back panel. It all leads to an 80% efficiency rating to keep your power costs down.

Great PSU

Pros: 60 bucks after MIR
Plenty of power for a quad/sli system
Almost to many connectors
85% efficiency

Cons: The only complaints I have for this PSU is I wish it was modular and wish it had longer wires for the CPU 4/8 pin.

I had to buy a extender for cable management on my Antec 900 but for the normal person they will be almost to long.

These are very picky cons for a very picky buyer.
Other Thoughts: 60 bucks can hardly get you a 500w PSU so for the price its a fantastic steal.
Never had a issue with Rebates with OCZ and they are a brand to choose from.


Also don't rate this 1/5 if its DOA...it happens get over it...rate if when you don't get a DOA.
Many factors from a bad part all the way to rough shipping can cause a DOA.

Pros: When building my new gaming system, the only thing harder for me to select than the video card, was the power supply. The video card I selected was the EVGA 512-P3-N879-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+, which I love and can play Crysis on all full settings, plus it totally tears apart Farcry 2 with every setting at it's highest. The video card specs said that it requires at least 24amps on each rail. I took a chance on this power supply even though it falls slightly short by a couple of amps. Two things were important to me. A name brand I respected and trusted. And the second was price. I didn't want to spend $100 on a power supply. I wanted at least two PCI power cables with at least 18 amps on each rail. My new video card only asks for one PCI power cable so the second will be for future applications when I'm ready for a new card. I'm very happy with this power supply. It's rock solid, silent and the meshing on the cables is top notch.
Cons: None. Very happy I decided on OCZ. I buy their memory a lot and didn't even know they make power supplies. I bet this lasts well past my next video card which is a couple of years away.
Other Thoughts: This OCZ power supply was inexpensive yet provides quality power that you'd expect from a power supply costing twice as much. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants top notch gear at a great price.

Pros: cheap, lots of features
Cons: this power supply had an electrical buzz for about a month and then it died and FRIED my motherboard, seriously, no joke. I do not know yet but hopefully it didnt harm my cpus, ram or video card.
Other Thoughts: I thought power supplies were supposed to have built in safety features to prevent it from FRYING the system

seriously OCZ. Did you save money by not putting fuses into these things?

theres no sorry for inconvienence on this one unless you want to send me a new dual quad core xeon workstation or cover the shipping fees on having to RMA potentially every component

Pros: Plenty of connectors
High watt rating
Cons: I don't think the fan is faulty. Just the idle rpm on the high side.
Other Thoughts: Do not consider this if you plan to keep the box in your bedroom. My other 600W Ultra psu is quiet and sits in my bedroom, always on.
