5 out of 5 eggs 2 years later and running strong...

Pros: Does what it's supposed to and it looks nice. It's been over 2 years since I purchased this along with the rest of my computer parts to build my first PC and despite the negative reviews I've not had a single thing go wrong...(knocks on wood)

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat power supply

Pros: Reliable, reasonably priced. Just what I was looking for.

Cons: None that I have seen.

Other Thoughts: Installation was fairly easy. Keep in mind there is a LOT of wiring you need to tuck away. Plastic wire ties come in real handy to make it all neater. The P.S. looks nice in the case.

1 out of 5 eggsWorstProduct Ever

Pros: None

Cons: Failed Second time. Cost me $14 buck to ship and they shipped me a refurbished one. Which broke after 4months. It was working intermittently until it took last breath 2 days ago.
I had to a lot of downtime due to this.

Other Thoughts: Never Buy OCZ PSU. They ship you refurbished products if the orginal is RMA 'ed.

1 out of 5 eggsMultiple Problems Fan Made Noise. Something Popped months later.

Pros: Not much use when it breaks.

Cons: When I got this. The fan started making noise after a few weeks. Instead of RMA'ing. I just replaced the fan.

Unfortunately, a few months later. This power supply popped. I smelled electronics burning. And the PSU now makes a loud siren like noise. Since I replaced the fan I cannot RMA this. Not recommended.

1 out of 5 eggsIt might be nice, if there were no bad connectors.

Pros: reasonable price for a powerful PSU

Cons: There were bad connectors the first time I used it. Had to ask for a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it is supposed to.

Pros: I got this on the ShellShocker deal. I "thought" 600w would be enough for my build, which is is. However I do not think after actually calculating it that I will be able to run SLI with all my other hardware. But it does what it asks, and is probably the quietest thing in my case.

Cons: None for the price (ShellShocker). For the "regular" price, why not spend a few extra bucks?

Other Thoughts: I had to buy an "adapter" to get a few more SATA power plugs. Turns out this is good, because my fans use a lot of molex plugs. Also, I had to use an extension for the CPU power cable, but this is in my full size case, and I'd estimate most medium size or smaller cases would be fine.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: 680 watts
2 PCI-E connectors
Great replacement for my previous one

Cons: None other than the rebate is a joke

Other Thoughts: I mailed the rebate over a week and a half ago and according to the rebate tracker it hasent even arrived......

The mail to address is in the same freaking state! from fresno to san deigo does not talk 9 days to recieve even by snail mail

I've seen other reviews in here about people complaining about the rebate so i wasen't keeping my hopes up but my overall rating isn't based on the product but the quality of care OCZ gives to their customers and their rebates......

4 out of 5 eggsGood Unit

Pros: Cables plenty long. Got excellent tech review at another site. Quiet.

Cons: Only 3 SATA plugs and they are all on the same run. If you have SATA DVD/BD drives you will need some molex/SATA adapters.

Other Thoughts: Always buy a quality power supply. Like this one.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU but needs more SATA

Pros: Quiet, sleek looking power supply with ample power and a good price (got it for $60 plus a $30 mail-in-rebate).

Cons: Tons of power connectors on this thing, however there are only 3 SATA power connectors and they're all on the same "rope", if you will. I needed to mount my DVD drive in the bottom CD bay in order for it to connect to my hard drives. This can easily be remedied with a Molex -> SATA power adapter or a SATA extension cable, but it's a bit ridiculous that there are so few SATA plugs, and that they're all consolidated. It makes for a clean look, but the tradeoff is not a lot of room to work with in your PC case.

3 SATA connectors. WTH?

4 out of 5 eggs
Does what it's supposed to. Relatively quiet. Measurably more efficient than my previous OCZ.
