1 out of 5 eggsUnstable power rails, bad components

Pros: Pretty red fan, which is worthless when the psu is in the trash.

Cons: I bought this a little over a year ago. I'd estimate it to have less than 500 hours of load time. It's now running unstable with a single video card and I am sending it back on warranty. I'll sell the replacement and continue using my 7 year old Antec True Power 650watt. Do yourself a favor, and buy an Antec True Power, even it it's more expensive.

Other Thoughts: Cheap components

5 out of 5 eggsJust fantastic

Pros: I have been using this PSU for almost 4 years, i measured all voltages with a multimeter and they are exactly identical that the first day i bought it. It is extremely reliable, i used it with a lot of different VGA over the time, 4890, HD6870 CF, HD7950, GTX770 everything overclocked up to their limits. It endured all i put on my rig even after four years of heavily usage.

Cons: 8 Pin CPU Connector could be longer for those who like to hide they cables behind the motherboard or use full tower cases.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great for days... until it died.

Pros: Semi-modular setup is really nice when running the power.
Lots of power when you need it.

Cons: After running this for maybe a total of 6 days it just died. It no longer turns on. I contacted OCZ support for a rebate and was told that they cannot help me because OCZ has recently been purchased by Toshiba.
This looked like it had great promise, but the company and power supply failed.

1 out of 5 eggsOCZ 750

Pros: No Pro's DOA.. I bought it a couple years ago as a spare. I finally need it to use on a new build. It was doa.

Cons: Did I read that OCZ has filed for bankruptcy, well so much for any RMA.

Pros: Works splendidly, quiet, doesn't run hot during hours of gaming, and is bronze certified.

Cons: Glows... seriously why does everything have to glow?

Other Thoughts: Just shut up and buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid After 3 Years

Pros: This power supply is rock solid. I purchased it back in December 2010 to power my 1st gen i7 and now its powering a 4th gen i7 rig. The modular design and lengthy cables worked great in my full tower case as well as in my current mid-tower Cooler Master HAF 912. I like the lengthy cables because I go a bit nutty on routing and managing cables in my case. I loved this 750w so much that I've purchased 2 of their 550w versions for other builds that I put to gether for some friends.

Cons: I only had 1 minor issue, the fan began making a very subtle clicking sound. It was barely noticable over the other fans but I'm a bit of a nut job and had to do something about it (side note: when I say this, typically it means that I'm about to void my warrenty). I got a 140mm fan which a hair too big. These PSU's use a 135mm fan which are quite difficult to find, by design so this type of operation isn't possible. After getting the old fan out I got the new one out, cut the connector, stripped the wires, slapped on some wire nuts and zip tied the fan & grill into place (since the screw holes no longer lined up. I was surprised at how well it worked and its been trouble free since. This isn't really a big con because lets face it, fans go bad all the time. I found my redneck work around for it.

Other Thoughts: Why wait 3 years to review this power supply? 1st I was bored and drifting through my newegg account marveling at how much money I've spent here over the years and came across the invoice. It dawned on me that this is the oldest component in my current rig and has never given me trouble. It speaks to the outstanding quality of this power supply. 2nd I appreciate reading reviews of products that others have used for a longer time period. Most feedback comes after a month or two of use. It gives me more comfort in knowing that I'm purchasing a quality product that will go the distance.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Psu

Pros: Replaced a still running 550w for future sli purposes, packaging was perfect as with the 550w. Comes with a good amount of extras and cables etc also like the 550 its clearly labeled on the psu what goes.

Cons: Possibly a problem but not sure after a year or so the fan started staying on for a bit after i turned it off with the led as well, i am not sure if this is maybe an after cooling design but i don't remember it o well the psu has given me no real problems

Other Thoughts: Great psu couldn't have asked for more at the time i got it for pretty cheap on an already cheap psu i just wish they made an even bigger fatal1ty version above 750
