5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have two of this PSU for 5yrs and I have had zero problems. If you can take the fan grill of this PSU off easily for noise reduction. I run my 2011 build on it with x2 r9 280x cards. No problems..... It I have two of this PSU for 5yrs and I have had zero problems. If you can take the fan grill of this PSU off easily for noise reduction.

Cons: I run my 2011 build on it with x2 r9 280x cards. No problems..... It also comes with plenty of black SLEEVED cables in the box. Very big PSU if you want it for a smaller build.

3 out of 5 eggsLoud but works well

Pros: I have owned since Feb 2012 and it has worked well.

Cons: This thing is loud. Twice as loud as all of my case fans, Tuniq CPU cooler, and graphics card put together. You can even hear it with headphones on!

5 out of 5 eggsMild Gamer

Pros: Lenovo Thinkcentre with upgraded RAM, Video Card, Hard drives, DVD drives - Perfect fit, bolt in, modular design accomodated all necessary connections, quiet. Playing COD for an hour, some heat but not much. I needed an ATX 4 pin connector for the motherboard, look carefully at the 8 pin supplied, they come apart but it almost doesn't look like they do.
I like the weight of this as well, feels like I bought a power supply with some substance to its construction.

Cons: one user noted noise, not on this one, I put my head right next to it and hear a little fan/air moving only

Other Thoughts: Had two OCZ Fatal1ty power supplies, one failed just out of warranty, the second about a year afterwards. This unit replaces the second and has a 5 year warranty so willing to give OCZ a second chance. The first unit just out of warranty, OCZ basically said too bad for you. Liked the units but feel like the one failed prematurely and neither were loaded heavy.

5 out of 5 eggs3 yrs of no problems

Pros: I built my (140W Quad Core) PC in 2007 and have been thru 3 PSUs until this one. 3 yrs and still going strong.

Cons: None, love it.

Other Thoughts: I've used raidmax, cooler master, other well known names and they all failed within a year. Total of 3. Then I got this one. Still working like a horse.

3 out of 5 eggsSatisfactory Performance

Pros: This power supply worked just fine. I had no problems other than the fan for about 15 months.

Cons: After about 6 months the fan started to rattle. By the time I replaced the power supply, the fan was VERY loud. I know a lot can go wrong with fans, but the life span of it was much shorter than expected.

Other Thoughts: I see no reason to purchase this power supply over the Corsair I bought to replace it.

3 out of 5 eggsThis PSU is questionable

Pros: *Seems comparable to some Corsair branded PSUs of the same specs.

*Fits my Thermaltake Soprano case fairly well.

*The modular design allows me to use what cables I need and not have to somehow hide the cables that I don't need.

*The black mesh sleeved cables look nice and it's a decent looking PSU as far as PSUs are concerned.

Cons: *Seems to put out a considerable amount of heat.

*Constistancy of wattage from this PSU is questionable.

2 out of 5 eggsIt's okay

Pros: It has high wattage

Cons: It makes a rattle noise while the PSU idles, it doesn't make the noise while playing almost any game I have, just when surfing the web or playing a game that requires the bare minimum of hardware available to play, one particular Visual Novel takes very little to no effort to run, and it's hard to enjoy it with the rattling of the fan, my advice, look at any other highly rated PSU besides this one, I'll not be buying an OCZ product from here on out.
