5 out of 5 eggsGreat Investment

Pros: High current rating, long lasting

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Initial cost for batteries with good charger are a bit steep, but savings over disposable batteries more than make up for it. I've got six year old kid with lots of battery operated toys, these are perfect for them. Have tried a few other name brand rechargeables, they can't compete with these. Currently own around 20 of these, the oldest are more than year old and still working well

5 out of 5 eggsBest rechargeable AA batteries I've found

Pros: This is my third set of these Powerex batteries (16 total, now), and they outlast, outperform anything on the market as far as charge capacity and charge retention. I can charge these up today, drop them in a bag and they will have 85-90% charge after 3-4 months in storage. They last as long as Alkaline batteries (usually longer) in my cameras, flashes, and other high-drain devices.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I charge mine in a Powerex C9000, programmable charger that I picked up locally (with my first set of batteries), although any quality charger will do (even the cheap, Energizer brand ones from Wal-Mart... you just have to prevent over-charging if using a cheap charger, and make sure it can handle at least 3-amps.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Batteries! Screw Newegg!

Pros: Amazing in my digital camera, they really last longer than any of the best name brands available in any store.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I have bought these several times for myself, parents cameras, kids toys only because they are truly amazing! And even though I always post dozens of helpful reviews...

Newegg fails to acknowledge any of them because they omitted all of my reviews from the current contest... where ever I used the word amazing ?

5 out of 5 eggsFantasic Batteries

Pros: I have been using 12 of these now for my Nikon SB-600 Flash unit for quite a while now and they are fantastic. They give me a quick refresh rate for full power and almost constant instant flash for 1/4 power or less. The SB-600 (as well as most high end TTL Shoe mount flashes) eat batteries like nothing you have ever seen. Its stupid to not use these batteries. make sure you have a good MAHA charger.

Cons: On super quick discharge I have noticed they get fairly hot, but that's to be expected. They drain a bit over time when not in use, but nothing 10 min in a charger can't fix.

Other Thoughts: I have used these in a LED flashlight too with very good results.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Bother

Pros: Worked well why they lasted. Carrying case was a plus.

Cons: Didn't recharge as many times as the Canon batteries I bought with my Powershot A80. I continued using the Canon batteries when I upgraded to an A100IS. When they finally gave out after years of use, I purchased the Powerex batteries. After just over a year the Powerex batteries don't hold a charge. I just placed an order for Canon batteries.
