1 out of 5 eggsWorst I've ever had

Pros: Came pre-charged

Cons: Have to be the worst rechargeable batteries I have ever bought. They claim to be able to retain 85% of their charge for one year. They go dead in my Canon camera within a few hours, and yes, that is with it turned off. I also have the Powerex MH-C9000 charger, too. I bought an 8-pack of these batteries and they all fail to hold a charge for very long. I've tried having the charger go through the Refresh/Analyze cycle, the Break-in cycle, and the Cycle setting that charges and discharges multiple times. I've tried trickle charges and then, when that didn't work, I tried fast charges. Nothing has helped to get these to hold a charge for more than a short time.

Other Thoughts: I appear to not be the only one that has had severe problems with these. The ratings of 34 other people are mostly for either 1 or 5 Stars. Maybe a bad batch of these made it through their QC department.

5 out of 5 eggsfunctions

Pros: had luck with imedion batteries in the past and same deal here.

I try to wait when they are on sale to switch out old remote batteries and/or for gadgets.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This brand of rechargeables lasts longer than all the others I have tried. When I committed to digital photography, leaving film, not a few years ago, I bought several brands of batteries. This brand kept working long after the others. I bought Powerex especially for the charger. The charger was highly rated, and the only one that would SLOW charge batteries.

Cons: none

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't last even 1 year

Pros: they work initially

Cons: bought 8 pack 10/26/13 4 have already failed using MH-C401FS charger. followed instructions - power up charger then placed batteries in. used slow charge. within 2 minutes lights were flashing red to indicate bad batteries. only used them in wireless mouse or keyboard. Only recharged them a few times before they failed.

Other Thoughts: would give 0 stars if possible. I suppose it could be a bad charger, but how does one tell

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None; I could have purchased Harbor Freight Hi-Capacity NIMH OR Panasonic Eneloops
Supposedly, these come pre-charged, a 'pro'.
NOT my 2 pks of 8 cells/pk.
These were on sale, BUT more expensive than said HFrt AA's even when on sale

Cons: Capacity appears less than H Frt cells.
No more of these. Panasonic Eneloops & H Frt, here I come!!

Other Thoughts: I would have AVOIDed these had I known what they actually were. UNLESS U think U can get better products, also consider doing the same, .e., AVOID !!

5 out of 5 eggsWork great and hold a charge for a long time

Pros: I've been using these imedion batteries for several years now and will frequently leave them setting on a shelf for a year at a time and they're always ready to go when I need them.

I've also started to use them in several low drain devices (fire alarms, safes, wireless mice, remote controls, etc...) and they work great! Typically I don't half to charge them more than once every couple of years!

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsAs advertised.

Pros: I had purchased the higher capacity units to be used in wireless mics, and they have worked great. Only problem was that they lasted long enough that by the time I needed to swap them out the ones sitting in the case were partly drained.

These don't last as long in the mics, but the ones sitting in the case are ready to be used at full power. I am very happy with these.

Cons: They are physically smaller in diameter than the standard Powerex units, but still not small enough to fit properly in my electric tooth brush

The label on the batteries are a little more generic than their brightly colored counterparts. Though I REALLY like how they look people might mistake them for standard alkaline and through them away.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerex Imedion MH-8AAI-BH

Pros: I bought these in January 2014 for use in cameras that may just sit on a shelf for months without use. Previous batteries lost their charge...very inconvenient...because when you go to use the camera...can't ....batteries need to be charged. I am writing this in late May 2014....and these batteries are still holding their charge in two cameras and operate perfectly. I am very satisfied....so much so that I've taken the time to write this follow up review!! Rick Verlander

1 out of 5 eggsRechargeable Not

Pros: I still have 4 of 8 left.

Cons: Bought a pack of 8 in 9/2013. 2 failed after 2 recharges. 2 couldn't even be recharged once. Using Powerex MH-C401FS on trickle charge. Have not had similar problems with other brands of rechargeable batteries including Powerex using the same recharger. Very strange since the recharger and both brands of batteries are made by Maha..

Other Thoughts: the Powerex batteries are 2700mAH while the Imedion are 2400

4 out of 5 eggsGreat batteries from respected manufacturer

Pros: I've had these batteries 4 or 5 weeks and so far they are great performers. Powerex isn't a household name but it's respected in other "battery circles." I have a "smart" charger and it indicates (so far) that these batteries should be healthy performers...no clinkers in the bunch of 8.

Cons: None so far.
