1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Have been using them for years on our church wireless microphones. Until recently.

Cons: Large failure rate!

1 out of 5 eggsVery Bad Product

Pros: None

Cons: Although no longer available, I would not recommend that these be purchased. I bought 12 for use at our church, and after 2 failed, I received replacements. Of the 14, 12 are dead! What is even worse, if installed backwards in an electronic device, the initial power is so great that it fries the device. These batteries destroyed $2,000 in wireless transmitters.

1 out of 5 eggsHIGH FAILURE RATE

Pros: HIGH VOLTAGE AND OUTPUT; USED IN WIRELESS MICROPHONE TRANSMITTER; IF INSTALLED WITH POLARY REVERSED, THE BATTERY FRIED THE TRANSMITTER (HAPPENED TWICE!!)

Cons: OF TWELVE BATTERIES, THREE HAVE FAILED AND REFUSE TO CHARGE. CONDITIONING DOES NOT HELP.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat battery!

Pros: Provides great power for my RC helicopter lights.

Cons: Of the three I received today, one of the packages had been cut open at the top of the battery so it was banging around loose in the shipping envelope with the two others. Why anyone would cut one out is beyond me...unless of course the battery was used then put back in the retail card and sold as new instead of used.

Other Thoughts: I will put the opened battery on charge and see what happens to make sure it's good.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful

Pros: Higher voltage than alkalines and works great for my RC applications. I use it for powering 9 LED's in my RC helicopter as navigation lights. Five are 5mm and four are 3mm. My testing shows these lights to burn constantly for just over 7 hours before needing a recharge.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you consider the price of this battery against alkalines you could purchase several alkalines BUT this recharges 1,000 times so in the long run the rechargeable is far less expensive.

3 out of 5 eggsHigher voltage than expected.

Pros: Fast charging with MAHA smart charger.

Cons: Voltage to date is about 11.5 volts on average. This is not advertised. Would not work on my Country wireless mic transmitter. Seems to work ok with Nady wireless mics, but don't last as long as the akalines we have used.

5 out of 5 eggsBest battery

Pros: I own a wireless guitar unit that eats batteries. I needed a rechargeable with guts. This is the only rechargeable that would let the transmitter work at all and hold enough power to make it through the night. I will never buy anything else.

Cons: Prices start at 9.99 and shipping.

Other Thoughts: Get the low profile 4X powerex charger. It cost a lot but runs cool, will not overcharge batteries and will even give a small charge to ordinary alkalines if they are not discharged too much. (Not recommended)

1 out of 5 eggsNot for all wireless mics

Pros: I'm sure they are great for paintball guns...(I do not own one).

Cons: Do NOT work with all wirteless mics. My E/V wireless mics will not transmit with these batteries. Read your Mic manuals CLOSELY before purchasing.
NON-REFUNDABLE purchase (IF opened).
I bought 4 with a charger that I cannot use....

5 out of 5 eggsBest for Wireless Mic Systems

Pros: I have used these batteries for years and they have a;ways delivered. Unlike most 9-volt rechargeable batteries, POWEREX provide 9.6 volts which more closely provides the power of Alkaline Batteries. Most other rechargeable batteries provide less power and thus fail more quickly.

Cons: None...

Other Thoughts: My Sennheiser Wireless Mics will not run at all on standard rechargeable Batteries. These are the only ones I have found that reliably deliver the power needed to run them

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for Line6 xds95 Wireless

Pros: Purchased to try in Line6 XDS95 wireless unit which won't run on the typical 8.4v Nihms. The 9.6v works way better than expected, played 2 gigs (6 hours) and still shows full charge on wireless unit. Incredible!

Another plus is it charged with a cheap old EverReady Nihm charger just fine, no need to buy expensive PowerEX/Maha brand one.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: If you have a guitar/bass/vocal wireless unit that requires a 9v, I highly recommend these.
