Pros: - Works good and is fast. I had transfer rates in the 200 MB/s range which was probably the max for the drive.

Cons: - Docked the eggs for not honoring rebate. That's apparently a common issue with manufactures rebates. They also have you mail in the UPC code, so you can't return the product. Manufactures rebates are so sleazy I don't know why they bother. It just ruins their reputation.

UPDATE: I emailed about the rebate and received the same reply as my rejection notice, that my receipt didn't identify the product. I later found some time during the day to call and ask exactly how they wanted it identified. They told me it was their mistake and they are going to send the rebate. I'm gullible enough to believe them if I didn't have very similar issues with other rebates I sent to other companies. still a sleazy business practice in my opinion.

- They have a notice inside telling you the retaining clips are fragile and to be careful not to break them, but that the clips aren't required for the product to function. That's nice, but if there is an issue with the product why not fix it rather than pumping out more clips that break easily? Or better yet since they aren't required why not remove them from the design so I don't feel like my product is broken if one breaks. That said I bought two enclosures and only one of the clips seemed to be flimsy enough that I wondered if it was broken. These clips are inside and hold the drive in place while the enclosure is open. Once closed I assume the case itself holds the drive in place.

Other Thoughts: -I didn't use the enclosed software.

Pros: Software works great and is easy to use. Works with mSATA to access data.

Cons: A little hard to open. Feels like the added pressure you apply to open can break the hard drive.

Other Thoughts: Was able to upgrade my WIndows 7 Pro 64 bit Dell 7240 Ultra-book from 120 GB drive to a 256 GB drive. Saved me time and was able to deliver to user in time.

Pros: - No issues with the hardware (did not use the software - used the Samsung cloning software).
- fast interfaces - moved from a 256G to 1TB mSATA with no issues.
- Did what I expected it to do

Cons: - none really

Other Thoughts: Did not use the included software

Pros: -Physically easy to install mSATA drive into the device
-Included software works very well with little effort
-Included software can be downloaded directly from manufacturer's website for systems without an optical drive

Cons: -Once a device is installed, it's mildly difficult to physically remove
-Side buttons for opening the device are not easily managed. It takes a steady hand and forced touch to open.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to upgrade an Ultrabook from 128GB. The only issue I ran into was that when cloning a Windows 8 install there were some boot management problems.

Keep in mind that is due to how Windows 8 is designed and I in no way am holding this against the manufacturer. However it is important to note that I have an above average understanding of hardware and software and it took quite a bit of time to resolve the issue. So if you intend on cloning a Windows 8 install do a bit of research on UEFI bios and boot management.

Pros: The adapter works seamlessly with your msata sdd, easy to manipulate and connect to your USB 3.0 port and the device is recognized promptly by Windows, Mac and Linux.

Cons: The Apricorn EZ driver did not completely copy an image of the sdd I was cloning on the first, second and third attempt. It caused a Windows error upon swapping out the ssd that was cloned, making it the new boot sdd. Windows could not load due to an unrecognizable partition error for which I was prompted to insert the Windows Recovery Disk on a fresh, fully working sdd.

Other Thoughts: I am an Industry Certified Engineer for a major media company and this is my bread and butter. Complete fail on the first try and not for the faint of heart who need a quick solution for newer PC architectures.
