Koutech IO-HU720 7-Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 External Hub with ON/OFF Switch

Pros: Comes with 4 Amp power supply

Cons: Unstable (see below).
Extremely bright with 7 screened and 1 exposed blue LED.

Other Thoughts: I had bought because my Rosewill USB hub was not charging fast enough with too many iPads and iPhones plugged in. I complained about brightness in previous review but after 1 month of use I'm retiring it and now using the Rosewill 7+2 Hub (awesome hub) with the power adapter this came with. It has stability issues, for example random issues with keyboard. Combination of connected items changes the issues as well, for example iPhone first generation charges fine if I have other items plugged in but charges/disconnects about once per second over and over again if I have no other iPhone/iPads plugged in.

(Note: Manufacturer website mentions updated version with better compatibility but I can not tell when the update was made)

Pros: 4 Amp power adapter

Cons: Blue LED for each USB port, and even Blue LED for uplink USB port. The whole white plastic housing lights up as well.

Other Thoughts: This things is a shocker. I wish the LEDs were mentioned in the description because it looks horrible and now lights up half the room. Giving it 1 extra star for 4Amp adapter but that is it.

Pros: Price, Specs

Cons: I got a bad one. Computer wouldn't recognize anything plugged into this hub. Newegg service was good, I was able to RMA it.

Other Thoughts: It's possible this is a fine product and I just happened to get a bad one; however, in an attempt to avoid another defective unit, I replaced it with "Digital Innovations 4390200 Connect + Charge 4-Port Hub" which has been working so far (about 2 months now).
