Cons: Frequently disconnects when transferring files, even if only one USB device is plugged in. Tried with several brands of drives, as well as 2.0 and 3.0 drives, and they all lose connection at some point. Using Win7 Pro w/ on board 3.0 USB. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Other Thoughts: I love this product, I'm in the process of building My Home Media Center. So All I have is my laptop for now. Cons: Does not play well with USB 2.0. When adding a mixture of 2.0 and 3.0 all lose connections. When 2.0 only and moving files, loses connection. I have to unplug and restart the computer and hope it re-detects properly. VERY FRUSTRATING! I have this plugged into a Koutech 3.0 card which seems to work fine but does not like the hub. I am surprised and disappointed and will be returning to New Egg as DOA. Does not work as advertised. sad. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you?
