5 out of 5 eggslongevity!

Pros: Quiet, durable, and long-lasting!

Cons: None really. Next time I'll go modular, but that wasn't widely available all the way back in 2007 when I bought this!

Other Thoughts: I just wanted to leave this review to note that I've had this PSU for almost 7 years, and it's never given me a hiccup. Still as quiet as the day I got it. That's some quality!

5 out of 5 eggsWay beyond 5 year warranty

Pros: The best PSU I have ever had. This PSU have been going strong for six plus years. When I purchase it the sales person said why are you buying a PSU with so much wattage and I told him, "I was buy it for the future" Well now the future is here. am an extremely happy now I can still use it for the current high wattage system build.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: ANTEC IS THE BEST

5 out of 5 eggsStill Running

Pros: This thing has been running rock solid for me since Dec. 2006. I figured I'd just throw out some props to a solid PSU - at least for me.

Cons: A little light on Molex connectors, but I have stuff going on all over the case. For the average user this shouldn't be an issue.

Other Thoughts: System specs - C2D X6800, Intel BDX2, 4GB Corsair XMS2, HIS HD 4850, WD 250GB SataII, 5 120mm Yate Loons, Swiftech pump, and a couple of mutant mods light bars.
I think in the future I will go modular. This PSU has been great and I've yet to have any problems due to funky power. Where I live it we get power outages. I didn't put a UPS (with AVR) in front of it for a while and it survived several outages and what not. Antec isn't a top tier brand, but they are a good bang-for-the-buck brand that gives you a reliable product.

1 out of 5 eggsNo more Antec for me

Pros: As it died after 4 months of installation and 2 months of use, I can't think of anything good to say about it.

Cons: Not modular. Smells bad after burning up.

Other Thoughts: This is the second Antec power supply I've owned in 13 months. The first one (Antec NeoPower 650) died after 8 months. Unfortunately, the one I replaced it with (Antec True Power Trio TP3-650) had an even shorter life span. I don't leave my machine running constantly and up until this past weekend, it had been powered down for almost 2 months. It was running like a champ for about 3 days and then all of the sudden it went out in a cloud of ozone.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful and Robust

Pros: I like this PSU alot, I have been using it for about 9 months or more. This unit has plenty of connectors for any setup out there, and it has been going strong with a E8500@4.25ghz w/ 4870x2 for the last 2months and before that a solo 4870. I would highly recommend this psu to anyone that needs SLi/CF with alot of accessories.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsToo much power???

Pros: THREE RAILS!!! I actually tried to use all three rails but found that one rail was more than enough to power a city bus!

Cons: None to speak of...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU...

Pros: I love this PSU. When I had upgraded my video cards to crossfired x1950, I knew my old psu wouldn't handle the load. I had picked up a low cost 500 watt psu from some off brand. What a mistake that was. It put out less power than my old 350 watt Antec, and even worse, had no overload protection. I realized this when I started to smell it burning quite badly. Since then, I have no desire to use anything other than Antec. I at least know that the wattage they advertise on the box truly is the wattage of the psu, and I feel much safer running them with the knowledge it will shut itself down before it immolates the rest of my computer and possibly my house... :-)

Cons: None.
