Looking for a power supply that's cool, quiet and costs less to run? With its independently certified 80 Plus design, the Antec's EarthWatts EA380 will do all that and more. The extra efficient circuitry that's at least 80 percent efficient at all loads means the Earthwatts EA380 will save your money every month.
The 80mm low-noise fan cools your PSU quietly and helps make your entire system cooler. And the built-in Active PFC makes the Earthwatts EA380 an ideal way to reduce electrical waste and protect the environment. Could this be your next power supply?

Quiet 7 Efficient
- Pros: Very quiet, and very efficient. 12% power savings (20W) on my Core2 Quad system, and 30% savings (25W) on my Core Duo (mobile) system.
4X SATA Power Cables!
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: I bought two of these. The one went in fairly new Antec case that had a 450W SmartPower supply, and a Core2 Quad Q6600 CPU, 4 500 GB Sata drives. My power consumption dropped from 175 to 155W. The SmartPower supply even used 15W when the system was powered off, this one uses 2W in "off" mode.
The savings were more dramatic in my always-on server, which has an A-Open Core Duo Mobile motherboard + 4x500GB SATA drives. The power in that system dropped from 90W to 62W. It had an old (4 years) 300W A-Open power supply.
If your computer runs 24x7, then definitely buy this, it will pay for itself (esp. as power prices keep going up).
great PSU
- Pros: very high efficiency power supply. hard to find a good active PFC psu around this price range. seems very well built, voltage rails are near perfect. VERY quiet as well.
- Cons: it does what it's supposed to do, the only con i can think of is that they could have sleeved all the wires not just the ATX one.
- Other Thoughts: This PSU is powering my overclocked pentium-D 805 linux server with 2 gigs of ram, 5 hard drives, and a GeForce 6600GT with absolutely no problems.

Works well, very quiet
- Pros: I got this power supply with the Antec 4480 II case. Quietest actively cooled PSU I've owned. Clean voltages.
- Cons: Only 380W, but it's 380 honest watts. 34A @ 12V (17+17) is more than you'll get from many cheaper PSUs whose power output is rated much higher than it.
- Other Thoughts: Many of the negative reviews appears to result from the fact that this is an ATX v2.0 power supply. This (and all other ATX v2+ supplies) are not appropriate for pre-Pentium 4 era systems. It doesn't supply -5V and the power distribution among voltages is for modern builds.
System went from 175 watts to 130 watts
- Pros: Old power supply was causing the system to freeze. This fixed it.
- Cons: none
WHS PSU
- Pros: Used ths for a WHS rig with 2x1TB eco drives and a celeron 440. Super quiet fan. My case fan is louder than the psu.
- Cons: none.....yet
- Other Thoughts: Great for WHS machines.
