The Antec's New TruePower series provides an advanced power supply solution for senior DIYer, striking a balance of reliability, efficiency and quality. The Antec New TP-650 power supply features 80 PLUS BRONZE certification, saving energy and your money. It also generates less heat and enhances cooling with a super-silent 120mm PWM fan. The Active PFC circuitry further reduces power use for cooler, quieter, and more environmentally friendly power.
The Antec New TP-650’s universal input capability, together with ATX12V v2.3 and EPS12V V2.91 compliancy lets you use it in a variety of situations without worrying about input voltages. Dedicated power circuitry, industrial grade protection circuitry, and Active PFC deliver safe, reliable output. Four +12V output circuits provide maximum stable power for the CPU independently of the other peripherals.
The modular design makes cable management easier. The main power cables are permanently attached, while all of the peripheral cables all plug into the back of the PSU. The cables are all wrapped in mesh for a cleaner installation. Bring new power to your system with this remarkable supply!
Pros: Modular cables are nice, but the non-modular ones are plentiful enough that I don't have any of the modular ones connected, but it's nice to know that I could if I wanted to.
Runs quiet.
Cons: Pricey.
Other Thoughts: It's way to soon to tell how good of a PSU this will be, call me in 4-6 years and I'll tell you how it has held up. My enermax 431W from 2001 is still running strong for what that's worth.
650W is more than you need. I'm running two 1TB hard drives, a 9800GT, i7@2.6, an external HD, 2.1 Klipsch, 24" samsung lcd, 20" dell lcd, and my total power draw at the wall is less than 250W (yes I'm measuring it). So what makes you think you'll need more than double that for the tower alone?
The closer you run your PSU to its rated max the closer to the optimal conversion effeciency you'll get, but the number does fluctuate so you'll want to overshoot a little bit (10-20% or so). If I were to buy again I'd get a good brand (Antec is a pretty good brand) of 400-500W just in case I want to boost up SLI later.

Pros: This is quality, just like the Antec case I put it in, Antec Sonata Elite case . I think it's on sale now. It will power the intel DX58SO board. Be careful, many lower power supplies don't have the 2X4 connector, Intel calls it 2X4, Antec just calls it 8 pin. This connector is used to power the more power hungry processors directly that the DX58SO board is designed for. It's also interactive based on power needs. Read the specs. This is an outstanding supply !!!
Cons: If you want quality this is the supply for you. I'm feeding a DX58SO with the intel extreme processor. Also a Firepro 2450 video card " drives 4 monitors ". I'm not overclocking and this power supply with the Sonata cased keeps cool with the fans on low. Spend a few more bucks, you'll be glad you did.
Other Thoughts: Buy this supply, best money you ever spent ! which ever supply you buy, if the specs don't list the 8 pin connector or intel calls it 2X4 call the manufacturer and ask them , if you're using it for thr Intel DX58SO board you're going to need that connector.
Newegg, like so many others say, you guys rock !!!

Pros: This is the same case that a company in Fla. uses for their custom built multimonitor units that are sold to major businesses world wide. This case is heavy, with sound deadening material inside the side panels. This unit doesn't have all of the fancy lights but you'll appreciate it every time you look at it. I can't say enough good stuff about this case.Pay the extra bucks ( it's reduced in price now I think ) best money you will ever spend !!
Cons: No cons. If you demand perfection, this is the case for you , period !! Newegg, you guys are something else, puting the customer first, that's what will make you folks a great success in this competetive world, the guys that are customer focused will win. Anyone can just fill orders, gotta take care of the folks placing that order also which you folks do an outstanding job of.
Other Thoughts: Outstanding case ! I'm running DX58SO with the intel extreme processor and a Firepro 2450 video card, 4 monitor card. I'm using the Antec 650 watt power supply ( another great buy, professional power supply, ) , no OC and it runs cool with fans on low, of course the room is fairly cool. Antec is pure class !!!
