5 out of 5 eggsReliable is an understatement......

Pros: -80mm rear exhaust fan which keeps airflow in mind for top mounted psu cases
-80+ Certified helps the electric bill...but most of all converts power efficiently to reduce heat.
-A great replacement for retail PCs with dead power supplies (leaves plenty of room)
-Very quiet for a 80mm ball bearing fan

Cons: -No mesh sheeths to cover the psu cables (at this point I'm nitpicking)

Other Thoughts: I have owned 2 of these in a 10 year span, and only had to buy a second psu because I sold my PC with the first antec. The 1st one is 7 years old now and I still haven't gotten a call to replace it. The second one is a year old and of course runs perfectly fine. If you build workstation PCs for businesses buy these in bulk the DOA rate is literally 1 out of 100 and that's even pushing it. Always clean out your exhaust fan anytime you get a hold of an air compressor it helps extend the life of the psu and most importantly the fan

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Budget PSU

Pros: I am an IT Technician and install this supply in all customer's PC/Workstations that have bad PSU's. Love it, it's the right size, price point, right amount of connectors.

Cons: Wish the cables were sheathed but don't expect that from a budget PSU

4 out of 5 eggsIt's a PSU..

Pros: Good PSU for the money
Runs silent (I have a house fan running on low)
Cable length was sufficient/plenty of cables
Not DOA

Cons: Dealing with the wires was like wrangling a boa constrictor. Thought I was going to have to play snake charmer music for it.

5 out of 5 eggsVery decent PSU

Pros: Decent PSU. Quiet if the computer is not in front of you, otherwise you can hear the fan noise but not enough to distract you from doing your things.
This has enough power to connect videocards with single PCI-E 12V connector.
The cables are not too long so it will fit well in a microATX case, if you are wondering. Since most microATX cases, the PSU sits on top.

Cons: It could have been cheaper.

Other Thoughts: I had many Antec PSU in the past and few of them failed due to long term usage (wear and tear). Overall Antec PSU quality is very good.
I also have Antec 500W and 650W PSU. Both of them are still working great.

5 out of 5 eggsAntec Never Lets Me Down

Pros: Quiet power supply. When I say quiet, I mean almost silent. The wires are plenty long for a mid-case.

Cons: The motherboard wire bundle isn't sheathed like most of my other Antec power supplies, but I knew this going in. Has 3 sata power connectors, but would have been nicer if it had 4, but again, I knew this going in.

Other Thoughts: I own or have installed about 8 Antec PSU's on my own computers and ones I have built for relatives, and I have never had an issue with any of them. All of my computers get Antec PSUs, and I have never seen one fail even after years of usage. I wouldn't install another brand even if it were free.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy with Antec BP430 430W psu

Pros: Quiet, easy to install, and comes with new power cord, mounting screws, and zip-tie.
And, when they say 5.5" deep, they mean it. Very happy it wasn't a little too long, like the last psu I ordered that was about 5.55, and didn't fit.
Excellent digital protection. Good deal!

Cons: none

1 out of 5 eggsFail

Pros: It worked initially as intended

Cons: Failed lightly in under 2 years with very light usage.
* when I say Fail Lightly it still provides some power so it appears to functioning normally but mobo will never post. Thanks for wasting my time Antec hunting around only to find it was your cr*ppy PS.*

Bouncing Rebate Check
* Icing on the cake was the NSF Rebate Check they sent when I first ordered it - should have known it was trouble. *

Other Thoughts: Antec used to be synonymous with quality - especially with power supplies - but after sending me a bouncing rebate check for this PS (PofS) and have it fail lightly within 2 years with very very light use I am switching to Corsair PS and never looking back.

5 out of 5 eggsAntec Basiq BP430 430W Continuous Power ATX12V Version 2.2 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Quieter than old stock PSU
Easy install
Fits in my HP Pavilion P6-2100
Enough connectors for me.
Not too expensive
Antec is a nice brand

Cons: Cables aren't covered
Still a little loud under load

Other Thoughts: Had to buy a new power supply to be able to get a new video card.Chose this one because it fit what i needed perfectly.I only have a hdd and an optical drive so 3 SATA connectors is enough for me. 1 6 pin PCI-E connector is all i need for a 650ti. Exceeds the 400 watt requirement for the card.
