5 out of 5 eggsWill work well in any basic PC!

Pros: -80 Plus certified
-Well priced
-Antec quality
-Ordered two, neither have failed
-I assume good build quality (read below)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I ordered two of these within this past year for my mom's PC and for my friend's PC and they are still running well. Granted, I'm not a big power supply guru, so I don't know what good quality is vs. bad quality, but these definitely seemed pretty durable and on the heavier side. I would recommend one!

Pairing them with:
Intel Pentium G2020 2.9 GHz (both PCs)
4 GB DDR-1333 RAM (both)
AMD Radeon HD 6450 (mom's PC) / AMD Radeon HD 7770 (friend's entry level gaming PC)
Intel 320 60 GB SSD (mom's PC) / Western Digital 320 GB 7200 RPM hard drive (friend's PC)

Both of these setups have been running for 6 months-a year and neither have failed!

4 out of 5 eggsHTPC User

Pros: No issues running a HTPC in my living room. When first installed in my system this thing operated almost silently.

Cons: After about 8 months of use (almost continually) the fan became audible from across the room even while watching an action movie.

Other Thoughts: I was hoping to get a longer life out of the PSU but it wasn't in the cards. I assume I may have just gotten a bad fan. Have now spent the extra money for a fanless PSU for the HTPC. I will hold on to this as a spare for my file server.

5 out of 5 eggsGood power choice

Pros: Moved up to Ivy Bridge from Pentium Dual Core last summer in my old Sonata case. The new 1155 Gigabyte MB I was set on featured a 8-pin(4+4) CPU power connector. I didn't want to just use the 4-pin from my old, but still kicking SU-380, or an adapter, so I shopped around.
This PSU had everything I wanted: good price, active PFC, 8-pin CPU power, double ball-bearing fan, and quality name.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It runs cool and has been quietly working nonstop (minus Hurricane Isaac) for 6+ months without issue. Fully sleeved cables look great and made tucking excess neatly away easy.
I've been very pleased with this purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Sub $50 PSU

Pros: 80 plus certified, 30 amps on the 12V rail, 120mm fan, sleeved cables, short (will fit in a cramped htpc or sff case), quiet

Cons: not modular (not really a con at this price)

Other Thoughts: For a good sub $50 PSU, your best options are the Antec Neo Eco 400W, the Antec Earthwatts 380D, or the Corsair CX430V2. Just go with whichever is cheapest at the time of purchase. They're all good and basically on par with each other.

5 out of 5 eggsAntec Neo Eco 400W PSU

Pros: Active PFC, 80-plus certification, extremely quiet, not too large.

Cons: Non-modular, power cord not included (extremely minor con).

Other Thoughts: Had this one in my stash for a little while and ended up needing it to replace an older Silverstone PSU that was running hot and emitting a bad smell. Luckily, I replaced it before it blew out completely.

It's quieter than the Silverstone, which is perfect for its use in my HTPC. The system is more stable and running cooler. The only real minus is having to pack up all the unused power cables in the SFF case.

I can definitely recommend this power supply for HTPCs or low-power general-use builds.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Lucky if you get one that works.

Cons: It made me think my motherboard was broken and bought another one. Later I realized this was Dean On Arrival. Made me waste 2 weeks of time, money and client trust.

Other Thoughts: After reading reviews there are so many dead units... So it is my fault for not researching that this may be a faulty model. I went Corsair CX430 and everything is great.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome little power supply!

Pros: Great value at this price. It comes with a lot of connections. Powers everything I need it too and then some. I got mine in two days when I paid for the 3 day! I definitely plan on buying up more of these. I know it says 400 watts continuous but I try to keep it at about 360 which =80%.

Cons: None. My case is a little small and all the cables are sheethed so I had a hard time with cable management. Nothing worth loosing an egg over.

Other Thoughts: My rig specs are:
fx-6300 stock
8gb 1600mhz
2x 1tb hdd
2x 120mm fans
1x cd-rom drive
I run all of this and still have room to overclock once I get a better heatsink. My brother runs a 2500k rig with similar specs to mine on one of these psu's as well.
