5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Works like it should, hasn't failed in over a year.

Cons: None that I can think of

Other Thoughts: Works fine for basic machines for businesses. I use it in builds for customers, haven't had a failure yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product that gets the job done!

Pros: Immediate response after sudden power outages
Cool and quiet
Easy installation

Cons: Bigger than expected

Other Thoughts: I built a desktop for my aunt and I wanted it to be a lower mid-range PC. The price of this combined with the specs was perfect, but before I found this I decided to go with an even cheaper brand which turned out to be a mistake. With the other brand I received 2 dead power supplies in a row then I found a list of power suppliers, their products, and the grades they receive. This Antec power supply was in the B+, A- range which was an even better deal.

One year later and there have been no hiccups even with power outages. It even performs better than the Rosewill 1000W power supply (which is going to be replaced soon) I have in my personal desktop which in a power outage I have to jump through all sorts of hoops to get back on.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good product

Pros: Has everything one would want for a basic gaming computer. I've owned this power supply since Feb 2012 and it runs really cool, quiet, etc. Very good product. This was installed in a work computer that doubles as a gaming computer! Dual rails is a +.

Cons: no cons found.

4 out of 5 eggsCan't Beat it for the Money

Pros: Really, it's hard to beat. Antec has always been a high quality brand for me, and this was no exception.

Cons: The only reason this was not a 5 star unit for me was that it did not allow the Haswell build to sleep correctly. It would power down, but never wake.

Other Thoughts: If I was building a high-end rig, I would not be getting this. Worked fine for the i3 build it went into though. Now, there may be I few adjustments I could make in the BIOS for this (my unit went out to a customer) but I was I little disappointed to see that the unit is labeled Haswell compatible and did not quite deliver.

4 out of 5 eggsAntec 450 watt

Pros: I've had this PSU for about 1 year, it ran all my stuff fine up until the 1 year mark. It ran an HD 6770 1gb for a while then got migrated into another case where it is currently running an Asus 7770 2gb. Good PSU for the price, looks sexy in a windowed case.

Cons: The PSU makes a grinding and clicking noise when under a heavy load. caused a few BSODs, my computer is grinding to a halt and freezes constantly. I am getting a new Lepa PSU soon.

5 out of 5 eggsStrong

Pros: Still going after 1 year on not so desirable components.

Cons: Ran through a few hiccups every now and then, but that's all my fault.

Other Thoughts: G2020 cpu
x1900 aiw, then r9 270x gpu
Crucial 4gb 2x2gb
1 SATA Dvd drive
1 SATA hd
1 case fan
1 pci wireless card

Most knowledgeable people probably wouldn't use this in such a system, and they're probably right not to. It ran perfect with the aiw card in the first 6 months, had a couple of dicey freezes/restarts when I replaced it with the 270x for the first couple of days. It was most likely just a bad driver install though. Aside from those early days, it's been running perfect. System is on 24/7.

The wires are just enough for my mid case. Might not be good for a full tower.

5 out of 5 eggsBasic power supply

Pros: Nice looking
Up to 80% efficiency is nice for a cheap PSU
Has more than enough connectors for basic systems.

Cons: Didn't come with black screws, only silver ones. (Very minor)

Other Thoughts: Would buy again for economical builds.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little replacement

Pros: This is a great little PSU for use as a replacement in an existing PC or as the heart of a basic, non-gaming desktop build.

Cons: None to report. Antec is always top quality in all their products.

2 out of 5 eggsEhh wait till you can get something better.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Terrible whining noise
Risky
Ugly

Other Thoughts: Wait and get a cx430 if you can. My friend has this and his seems to be okay, but mine was a complete dud, only reason it gets 2 stars is because my friend's works.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Value for Money

Pros: Good clean power, Antec build quality and reputation, 120mm fan isn't loud, nice long cables, wasn't DOA, got it on sale for a great price and the rebate actually worked

Cons: Could be quieter, wasn't free....?

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm very happy with my purchase so far. Time will tell....
This unit is powering an FX-6300 OC'd @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb DDR3-1866, 3 120mm fans, and two 1Tb hard drives.
