1 out of 5 eggsWorked for One Day

Pros: $10 rebate

i'll take some of the blame for this one not understanding the process... one egg until this issue gets resolved

Cons: When you cut the UPC symbol off the package (required to claim your rebate) you cannot RMA the product back to newegg, it has to go back to the manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: I went out and got another power supply right away knowing that i had limited time to test the other components that i purchased... i do not want a new power supply at this point but since i'm stuck with the purchase i may as well have one that works...

learned a valuable lesson

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Power Supply

Pros: 1. Looks very Good
2. Solid
3. Very high quality
4. Price

Cons: No cons

Other Thoughts: Looked at many power supplies on newegg and the internet before purchasing this partciuliar unit. I wanted a red power supply to match my red case. Not only did this power supply have to be red, but it had to be high quality and at least 700 watts. I found the PERFECT solution with this red and black 750 watt Antec Power Supply. Part arrived in a very high quality looking box and the power supply was packed really good, in fact the power supply was covered by a nice black fabric bag container. Feels kind of heavy and you can tell by holding it and looking at it that it is a good power supply. This is easily the best power supply I have ever owned and it looks absolutely perfect in my RED Thermtake Commander MS-1 Epic case that I put it in. This unit retails for $149.99 in most places, I got it from newegg.com for $99.99 and could not be more happy with my purchase. Highly recommend, and even more so if your trying to match your part colors.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect!!

Pros: High powered, runs VERY quiet... overall long cables EXCEPT FOR the eight-pin motherboard connector; I could not route it behind the MB and have it reach without putting stress on the connector due to lack of necessary length.

Cons: See above- somewhat short eight-pin connector.

Other Thoughts: The day I was planning to order a PS I noticed this one was on sale along with a rebate. Considering it was now the price of the lessor brand I had planned to buy, I snapped this one up. I previous had an Antec and it worked perfectly- this one is no different (so far). It seems to be of high build quality and the four and five star reviews here combine to 81%- which is tough to find on most PS's today.

5 out of 5 eggsVERY GOOD.

Pros: No problems whatsoever.
Works great with GTX 570's in SLI.

Cons: If you have a smaller case, cables might be an issue.

Other Thoughts: Very good, very well built. Definitely recommended.

2 out of 5 eggsStarted having issues after a year

Pros: -Nice wattage, and good, stable power while it lasts.
-Cables are sleeved and good lengths. Sufficient quantity of connector types for most mid-level builds and many high-end ones.
-Cool and quiet.
-Protection circuits work as needed to protect other components.
-5 year mfr warranty

Cons: Started having issues after about a year. When GPU requires more power or additional USB devices connected (that draw power from the circuit), the PSU resets.
Not modular - If you're not using all the cables, you'll have to find someplace to keep them in your case.

Other Thoughts: This is the first time I've had an issue with an Antec PSU. Generally they have good products and the only reason I replace them is due to needing a higher wattage.

1 out of 5 eggsBusted

Pros: None yet.

Cons: Waiting on the RMA with Antec.

I got it to power up my new rig. Was good for 2 days before it stopped working. Nothing special happened either. Would flash the front panel IO LEDs then stop dead.

I kept my older 500w Ultra xFinity PSU and it works fine with MB.

Other Thoughts: Current rig:

i3 3250
16GB Kingston RAM
Asus 9800GT
320GB Seagate 7200
1TB Hitachi

Nothing special and no reason the PSU should have given out. I bought the 750w expecting to upgrade to a new vid card and add more SSD and HDD but no go right now.

3 out of 5 eggsfollow up to N/A 1/2/2013 comment

Pros: Antec got my RMA processed in one week. Felt I needed to comment that dealing with the process was easy and they got my item replaced in short order. Thumbs up to their service/warranty department.

Cons: having to pay for an item that failed to be shipped back to the manufacturer. There is no reason that should be the case.

Other Thoughts: Happy with Antec's attention to get this matter resolved quickly.

System is humming along and very happy to have its PSU back.

5 out of 5 eggsNice deal

Pros: Runs two Geforce 550 ti's and tons of other gear including six massive fans without any hiccups at all. Stable and quiet with plenty of cables.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I got it onsale and received a 20 dollar rebate card in the mail because I can follow simple instructions so way to go antec for making the rebate virtually idiot proof :) Only been running it for 2 months so will update if anything changes in a year of use.

1 out of 5 eggsantec hcg 750

Pros: none so far as dying after 10mos isn't a good track record

Cons: bench tested by a tech dead after 10 months. I also called the 24/7 800 line and was number 1 for half an hour with no answer. filled out RMA online and still no contact from antec short of their do not reply with my case number.

I know I called on 12/31/2012 but whats the point of advertising a 24/7 help line and not having it operating???

bought this because antec has a good rep, now I'll have to see how RMA goes and what it gets replaced with.

5 out of 5 eggsWork like it should

Pros: I have an Antec case with an Antec power supply to replace my old Antec case and power supply on my new build. I have never had any problems with Antec stuff.

Cons: Not modular cords but I knew that coming in so I will not take an egg off for it.
